Arcen games, the makers of AI War and Tidalis, haven't been doing well financially and might go bankrupt if that doesn't change.

This is one of those few epic indie devs that make games you'd never think you'd see in this day and age. I highly recommend that people at least check their games out and see if it's something you might like. Be warned though, AI War might not look that impressive on the first glance, but like many of the games here at GoG, it's an aquired taste. :)
And if you're already a fan of their games, help spreading the word, there's no abundance of unique developers today and we need to support those who make innovative games!

On a note, They kept adding free content regularly to AI war to existing customers and listening to feedback and improving the game since it launched. Dont let the graphics fool you its quite a good buy.

AI War is awesome. So is Tidalis.
And Arcen Games' customer support is second to none. It's uncanny how much they listen to the community, and how much they have improved the game in the last year based on that feedback. I can't think of any other developer EVER that has done that in such a level, with such success.
For all that, they deserve our support. They did earn mine.

I tried to get tidalis from their site with paypal. But since you have to put the address it says the wont ship out of the us and wont let me buy. Guess ill get it at GG.

Oh man, give me a nice Ai War pack for 10 dollars again and I'll buy it in a heartbeat. Kinda broke at the moment to pay 30 dollars, and I already got Tidalis (which is a GREAT game, by the way!)
Well, that's odd.
Buy from Steam, Gamersgate, or Direct2Drive then. Buying on any of those will grant you a key, in which you can use to play the official arcen version, if you want to avoid steam and such. He still gets some money from it, and exposure too.

Well I wish them the best but neither of their titles appeal to me at all sadly.

I might buy AI War next weekend after I get paid.

Well I got tidalis at GG. You can use the kay to play the version from GG, the arcsen site or you can register it at steam and get achivements and such.
Any one have the AI expansion? Are the golems cool?
