MobiusArcher: How is the singleplayer in that? Now im interested, but I don't play multiplayer. I don't need a story line or anything. I have plenty of fun playing Unreal Tournament by myself. I need the variety that UT provides for SP to stay fun for more than a couple of bot-matches.
Well it's not heavily story based, but the basic outline is Allied and Axis model-airplanes fight it out various places around a normal house. The missions sound something like "destroy the enemy's ammo depot in the downstairs livingroom" and stuff like that, and there are toy tanks and flak-cannons. The whole level design is very clever, and it's really fun flying around a HUGE house picking up powerups from a bookshelf :)
Actually I have a good mind to start playing it myself now :p

Do games like Terminal Velocity, Fury^3, and Hellbender count?

It's Starwars, but still one of the best flight shooters I've played. I've only played the first one, but it had me hooked enough to beat 100% which is a very hard task. I played the computer version, but there is also a N64 version.
