I can't believe I fell for this:

The local TV sports program just told that since World Icehockey Championships are this year a joint venture between Finland and Sweden, due to some regulations and loopholes in rules where they mention only one team for the organizing country, Finland and Sweden have to play as one team, ie. there will be a joint Finnish-Swedish team in this year's world championships. Apparently they couldn't change the rules in time so that Finland and Sweden could have their own teams.

It was still unclear whether the team coach will be from Finland or Sweden, but they already had the players' shirt ready, where the Finnish flag had Swedish colours.

I was cursing for about 5 seconds, when it finally hit me "Oh yeah, April's fool...". Damn!

For ignorant ones: for many Finns it doesn't matter that much whether we'd win the championships, as long as we beat the Swedes (usually we don't). They are our dearest enemies.

For me, Andy Carroll (Liverpool FC) vowed for not celebrate IF he scored against his old club, sounds like April's Fool joke. And look what he did just now... here at Malaysia, we don't celebrate any form of April's Fool. Maybe there are, but not in large scale, maybe a bit banter or joke between close friend because that's simply not our culture.

I went to a restaurant and replaced the toilet paper with non-rip toilet paper, like every single roll. I spent the next 3 hours ordering coffee and watching people walk in but never walk out, in about 15 minutes a line formed :D
