For the dos games (those set up to use DOSBox from GOG) just copy the files over to them.
For the windows game of that period, most should work if you copy the files over, though a few may also require registry entries. Let me see if I can dig up a thread where the process of installing to a time machine was discussed.

Some do work and some have custom DirectX addons! And DOS Games like Wing Commander III Is DOSBOX only! So i have gone back to buying the games on Ebay so they work on both my classic rig and new pc! :)
