Hey.

I heard about the new game by mojang and it looks pretty interesting. Has anybody tried it? I'm considering buying it as I was a fan of Yu Gi Oh when I was a kid.

THIS IS NOT THE ELDER SCROLLS ONLINE BETA.

... Wait.. You're talking about The Elder Scrolls Online... right? And if so, how is it remotely close to Yu-Gi-Oh!?

I had a code somewhere but never activated it as it was MP only at the time. Stopped following it then.
I'm playing it and I must say it's a damn fine game. A bit hard to get into but fun and challenging. It's not MP only, you can play against AI, but still need to be online.

It's a bit like MTG mixed with a board game to place and move invoked units around the terrain. A game is about 10 to 15 minutes long, depends on your opponent.

And the best is it's not pay to win. Yes you can buy shard (secondary currency) with real money, but the cards you buy with it are limited and change once a week. The best way to get cards is to play and earn gold (the free currency).

Pretty good so far. It will need more cards but that seems to be for future updates.

EDIT : Oh and the deck builder is friggin' awesome, best i've ever seen ! User interface is clean and easy to use.

I would log in and see what the price tag is etc but mojang says my password is wrong and upon "successfully" sending instructions to change the password i haven't received it. so yeah make of that what you will.

Somewhere in the world a Bethesda lawyer is smiling smugly while pointing at the screen.

Looks like I might have to look into it. It sounds way more interesting than I had originally thought.

But don't take my opinion as universal. Go read imrpessions on scrollsfans forums and look at some youtube videos before. They are popping everywhere right now. :)
