The first three were awesome, until they got more console oriented, but I also think World at War may have been decent. I hated Sarge's Heroes and Air Attack, never bothered with Sarge's War and Major Malfunction, but I am interested in Army Men RTS.

Actually, I re-downloaded the first game about a month ago. I was able to get it working on Windows 7 32-bit, but sometimes the colors would tweak out. It was also nigh unplayable because the framerate would take a ridiculous dive. Still, when the framerate was smooth enough, I enjoyed it just just as much as I did when I was a kid.
yeah, that game was oddly good.
This franchise should be on gog.com without a doubt, the first 3 and rts at least.
i used to play the demo's of these alot. there was also a helocopter spinoff if i am correct.
I had the GC game, too. Sarge's War or something. Strictly for hardcore fans of the series (gameplay and environment are mediocre, the story and tone depart sharply from the cutesy "Toy Story" army men). I liked it. Then, I liked Blood Omen 2.
I still have the retail of the first game. Haven't thought about for years until now. What a fun game. Hopefully it will appear here.
Ahem, I took this at PAX 2011 this past year:)

Army men oh wow! I haven't played these games in like since they first came out or so whenever that was. Brings back some memories.

So where does that QR code link to? Or is that part of some fancy-pants "you are here" map system for people with iPhones and iPads?

I actually have no idea, they're all over the convention, I never scan them honestly.
