From what I understand from wikipedia there was a pc release of TLV2 that had superior graphics, animations and sound :

" The sequel was originally developed for the SNES in 1997, five years after the first game. The SNES version used technology very similar to the original installment, with similar, cartoonish graphics and 16-bit sound and music. Later releases (PC, PlayStation, Saturn) featured pre-rendered 3D graphics, CD music and extensive voice acting provided by Rob Paulsen (Erik), Jeff Bennett (Baleog & Fang), Jim Cummings (Olaf, Tomator), and Frank Welker (Scorch)."

I have the snes version (which looks a lot like the original) running fine on an emulator but I've always wanted to get my hands on this superior pc/playstation version. Has anyone managed to get the pc version somewhere and managed to get it working on a modern system?

I think Blizzard was talking about re-releasing these like they did with Blackthorne, but I may be wrong.

Yeah, they went a bit quite after putting that first one up didn't they? What a shame, well I'm still hoping...
Perhaps I should try to get original Playstation discs and dive into the intraweb's seedy underbelly to find a playstation emulator...

Probably focused on re-releasing the original Diablos in HD form, or whatever the plan is there.

Very nice, that looks exactly like what I'm after. Do you have experience with the site?

Yup, I've been ordering from them all the time, for years, and I've had no problems with them, even when they sent stuff to me overseas. I've even posted some pics from the last few batches that I got from them:

Great thanks dude!!
That first pic brings back so many memories : Nuclear strike! I remember playing the demo over and over again. I'm going to look for it on the wishlist right now.
Also cybermage! I remember these vague memories of screenshots in verrry old gaming magazines when I was little. I'm pretty sure that cybermage was one of the games I drooled over :)
