I just got one of the games, andthey're a gta/saints row clone series but I'm finding it highly enjoyable as far as tablet games go, remind me sort of a blending of gta 3 era games and saints row 1/2.

I've looked them over, but any consolized game on smartphone or tablet is completely fucking unplayable with touch controls. Action + touch = an unintuitive, clunky and terribly slow mess.

If it had say, USB controller support, or was available via Ouya or something, I'd probably be more interested, as Gameloft has quite a few games in their library that are essentially "ripoffs" of big console franchises that would probably do well with proper controller support...however otherwise? Nty.
