I would like to see Majesty/Majesty 2 and Elven Legacy. They seem like good absorbing strategy games but I have never played them, except for a demo on my phone of Majesty 1 that didn't go far into the game. That doesn't count for much.

Has anyone played them? Are they good? Are they worth having on GOG and what do you think are the chances?
Are they GOGs? I thought that they were pretty recent.

Majesty 2 was on sale on steam a while back, so I picked it up for a couple of quid. It was ok, not great, till the level with that dragon (fafnir?) which was apparently patched to fix balancing issues, and made the whole thing completely unwinnable. If that's their attitude to support and maintenance, best left alone.
Well the first Majesty came out in 2000, the second in 2009, so the sequel is too new. Elven Legacy came out in 2009, so I am sure we have to wait for that one also. At least there have been several expansions already, at least it looks that way according to Steam.

Guess I mainly wondered if they are good enough to pick up on Steam or to wait for - except for Majesty 1 which seems like a decent candate to get gogged.

Edit: Elven Legacy is a sequel to Fantasy Wars, which is on gog already.

I'd say that Majesty 2 was resoundingly better than the first game if it wasn't for the massive increase in difficulty once you're past the first five or so levels. If they sorted out the difficulty it would be worth it, but as it is... not so much. Which is a shame. It just need a balancing mod or something.
I didn't play Majesty 2 - the reviews and the demo didn't seem like a game in the spirit of the original.
On the other hand I really liked first Majesty and it's expansion. Despite it's simplicity and the luck factor it was a great time stealer.
It should be noted though that some missions were ridiculously difficult (like Legendary Heroes in Northern Expansion).
