Over the last 48 hours or so, GOG has been painfully laggy for me. Trying to access my library often hangs and never finishes loading properly, likewise the forums, it took me 10 minutes of trying before I could post an edit to one of my messages yesterday.

I don't seem to be having these lags with any other site atm...

Crossmando also reported lagging, so it may be a regional issue. Akamai shouldn't be having trouble though, so it may be the ISP.
I have no problem with the main site and the forums, but lately my library takes "hours" to load properly. And I don`t own that many games that it should cause problems ;-)

I was wondering if it could be IPS related, but I had the same issue tonight at a friends place on a different provider. I wonder who Crosmando is with.

It's weird, pages start to load fine then break and hang, and I'm not seeing the same issues anywhere else I try online.

Try doing a traceroute to GOG and see the response times. Highest time I got was 130ms, which does seem normal. It is possible that it's not an ISP that has trouble, but an intercontinental cable.
I get serious lagging on the home page of GOG.com. I have to use google to get to the other pages of the site and the other pages other than the home page are not laggy.

Traceroute results are pretty erratic, the highest I got was 197ms among alot of mid 30's. You're probably right about a busted cable somewhere.
