So i just got some money to buy some games, and i wanted to see if there had been any news or ideas about any upcoming sales. Anything on the Dungeons and Dragons games? Will there be a sale during the special GOG.com event on Oct. 18th? I'm new to the site so i only have about 4 or 5 games. There are plenty more i want, Just bought Arcanum and Vampire the masquerade from the Activision sale.

D&D had a promo quite recently, so I doubt we'll have another soon.
Regular promos are GOG Gem Promo on Wednesdays, which is one game that they think deserves more attention, and a Weekend Promo from Friday till late Monday.
Seeing as the last 3 promos were Atari, Square Enix and Activision, I'd say the next weekend will probably be either EA or Ubisoft, with Interplay being the outsider, mostly because those are the 6 publishers with the most games on GOG.com, and they seem to be having some big promos before their conference.
tl;dr
Wait for weekends before buying anything other than "must play now" games, with the off chance of Wednesdays.

The D&D games have already been on sale, 2 weeks ago I think. How could you miss it? :/

GOG has themed sales every weekend, and a gem promo every wednesday. Also, they probably will have a sale on the 18th of October, but I can't say for sure. You've been here longer, you should tell me :P

Also, Buy Sacrifice. It's the greatest game you've never heard of, a must-play for any real gamer.

I signed up a while ago, but didn't actually start using the site until last week. I used to be one of those MAJOR Steam fanboys. Now, not so much haha. Supporting GOG.com more now. I love this site :D. Just pretend i signed up last week, because that's when i actually started paying attention to the site :).
For the D&D games you want to keep an eye out for the Dungeon and Dragons: The Master Collection on Gamersgate.
Baldurs Gate 1+2, Icewind Dale 1+2, Temple of Elemental Evil and Planescape Torment. The same DRM free, updated files as on GOG but in a neat collection that is already far cheaper than the games separately on it's own. Last time it was on sale it was $6.38~ or something.

In that case:

Buy Sacrifice. Now. Don't think, don't ask why, just do it. NOW! It'll be the best decision you ever took in your entire gaming life.
