There are a lot of older SSI games such as Imperialism and Pacific General, Fantasy General which were great games but don't really run well on a modern computer. If I recall correctly, nobody has the rights to them anymore...just need to make them Win 7 compatible and we are off and running with more great games. SSI had a ton of GREAT games! Between them and Microprose, I was in total nirvana.

Ubisoft (I think) has the rights to them. It is very rare for a game to end up in a state where noone has the rights to it.

Anyway, I support the idea of having more SSI titles here.

Just for the record, someone always owns the IP for the games unless it has expired (takes 75 years or something) or it's voluntarily released into public domain so someone out there does own rights to SSI's former assests.

I would strongly support more SSI games being released here as well. In particular, the SSI Generals series (Allied, Pacific, Panzer) and the Gold Box games.
