I was giving serious thought to getting both the max payne games since they're on steam and on sale, I loaded it up to have a look at the prices and whoops, "item is currently not available in your region". Thats a great big "fuck you non-americans" from steam and they're whatever the combined cost of the 2 games poorer. Not like it'd make a difference but still, they're ever so slightly less rich than they could have been.
Also it's driven me away from steam just as something tempted me to try it again, it's kind of like seeing a girl you used to have a crush on in school, she's just like you rememember her, you go up to say hello and she kicks you in the bollocks and then pisses on you. Unless thats really your fetish, this is not an encounter that you'll remember fondly...

I have given up with steam the prices now for games are more than you can get for buying the same game in the shops here.

Yeah.. it isn't really steam's fault... but it does really bug me. And they seem to have cunningly chosen all the games that I want to make unavailable for me.
I think all the rockstar games are only available in limited regions. sigh.

Some of you may know the from IRC as the guy with the obsessive compulsive buying habit (as in, uuuh, Amazon nice thingy, buy); well, now it's gotten better and the strange thing is that now I have a second job so I could afford more games but somewhat other plans have come to mind that must be taken care of before making any new game buys.
