Pretty much what the title says. I'm a huge fan of the Kingdom Under Fire series and I've wanted to try this out out for a very long time but I didn't see anything about it for a long time. I've only been able to find gameplay just recently. So any chance that CD Projekt could get in talks with 2K Games and try to bring this over? I hear really good things from the people that have played it and I love the Kingdom Under Fire series as a whole. I was thinking of buying this off amazon sometime but I have no idea if it will even remotely work due to its age. So how about it anyone else want to see this?

Um from what I've read haven't they always had RPG elements in them? But this is the original one that was only released on the PC if that helps you.

Well, I define RPG differently. Yes, the original KUF game had RPG elements in it, but it wasn't an RPG. The next incarnation on the Xbox was more or less akin to Dynasty Warriors meets Warhammer: SotHR/Dark Omen. The last one was pretty much an action RPG on the 360, but I hadn't kept track of whether or not those games were also released on PC, which is why I asked. :D

Well only the first game was released on PC. The second one is going to be released on PC and PS3 but none of the others have been on the PC. Though it appears I should just probably go buy it off of amazon since with this low attention or demand for it I doubt they would put the effort into getting it to work on any modern OS.
Loved the RTS on the computer, felt kind of warcraftish mixed in with some Diablo one style Hero Missions. I just added it under the wanted section.
Taking out an entire map filled with enemy bases with just three guys was super awesome. The path-finding was ridiculously bad in that game though. Large groups of units would fail to move when ordered because they would all try to push through each other. There were were times where I would order a small group of guys to move slightly to the side, and the go off to do something else only to find that the group decided to the long way across the entire map and through certain death at the enemy base to get there. The game was filled with awesome, but it was also jam packed with frustration. Once you get far enough in the game that your heroes don't need much of a bodyguard, the game does turn far more awesome that it is frustrating.

The XBOX games Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders, and Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes were something else though. I would love to put in words just how awesome those games were, but I cant. The whole thing leaves me speechless. Kingdom Under Fire 2 is actually more of a sequel to them, and not the original Kingdom Under Fire. I know that sounds a bit odd for them to number the games that way, but I seem to recall an interview with the developers that said its a sequel to Crusaders. It was a while back though, so my memory could be off. Regardless, it plays like Crusaders, not A War of Heroes.
A snowball's chance in hell! (Which is pretty good, actually, if we're talking Dante).

Well the 3 I played were The Crusaders, Heroes and Circle of Doom so I fully understand the Xbox ones. the 360 one was ok to me but I like that kind of game.
