There's a new XCOM game coming?

ye there is one traditional and one fpp from what I have heard

The proper remake is by Firaxis, so I have high hopes that it'll be good. X-Com needs a proper overhaul, especially in terms of interface design. They should just keep the basics intact.

It's developed by Firaxis... X-Com coming back to its roots. Well, I'm excited.

I wonder how both 2K and Fireaxis got the rights to make XCOM games ...

More interested in this version than the fps version. Hope they do keep to the games roots and i am glad that Fraxis is doing it more of a chance to come out pretty good.

Well, I know at least one game that's getting cancelled soon (and I don't mean the shooter version).

Firaxis is part of 2k and has been given permission by them to revamp any microprose game sid wants to (seriously it was in the purchase agreement apparently)

As I said in the other thread, two X-Com reboots? It's like heaven. You know the only thing that would make everything absolutely perfect? Chryssalids in the FPS.

What we need now is for the strategy one to outsell the FPS one like crazy.
