Zip ties, don't see that being a problem.

I would prob try amazon first as you bought from them. you should have till 12 oct to be within the 30 day policy.

After 30 days, amazon will expect you to contact the manufacturer for repair or replacement.

I can understand going this route would leave your pc unusable for some time.

If you do buy another PSU, you could get the other one replaced/repaired and sell on ebay.
Have really good experience with Amazon's customer service over here. Send them a message / call them, see what they say?
Alright, I just went on ahead and ordered another one. I might try returning the other one to Amazon.

Where on the site do I ask them about that?

This page will give instructions on what to do, if you need help

Well, i've printed a return label, guess i'll have to send it and see if they accept it.
Another question.....

http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2244025

"Problem 2: The system will just turn off. Its like it detects a freeze and protects itself, but sometimes it happens with a quick trip to the bathroom, other times its a few hours, and upon my return my system is off. The management console gives no information on if it was a clean or dirty shutdown.

Solved: 1.) Activate internal intel graphics.
2.) set pck clock to 101 instead of auto
3.) Turn off c6/c3 in the cpu advanced features"

Anyone think I should change those settings or other BIOS settings when I get my replacement power supply in case that may have been the cause of my fried power supply? Granted in my case it wasn't the motherboard software but a hardware issue and i'm certain my careless plugging of the cord into the PSU was the problem.
Hate to be a bother and ask again, but my replacement power supply will be here in a few days. Anyone think I should change those settings posted above or turn off the Intel Turbo Boost setting for my Core i5 3570K? (default setting for that was "on", though I never went anywhere near full load on the CPU)
Okay, my replacement power supply will be here today instead of tomorrow. Anyone got any suggestion on if I should change those BIOS settings? I just want to make sure I don't fry another PSU, but I don't want to change the settings if it's going to mess things up.
