Elmofongo: Cow and Chicken aged poorly for me and I never cared for Mike Lu and Og, it looked like something for Nickelodeon.

Billy and Mandy was funny and so was Codenamed: Kids Next Door, this was my fav episode:

Dammit I knew that I left out something! The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy was awesome!
All I know about Cow and Chicken is that the pantless demon still cracks me up, and of course I R baboon big star of cartoon :)
I never took the time to get into Codename KND, but I always thought it was an awesome premise for a show. I recall this one huge battle in a shopping center against a candy pirate captain of sorts. Was pretty insane
You aren't the only one, traditional 2d animation should still be wide-spread, but instead it is dying. :(

I think i need to re-watch Legend of the Galactic Heroes now.
When we talk about "traditional animation", what are we referencing specifically?

If we are talking about the art of painting millions of cels, then I am not really sad to see that go. While it certainly means I can never own a piece of the animation, it does allow for things to be done much quicker and incredibly cheaper than they used to. Plus, digital animation looks so crisp in our modern, hi-def world.

If we are talking about animation that is "flat" or 2-dimensional, then I will agree that I miss it very much. Most anime are still producing things "traditionally", so that's always a relief. However, it is a tad frustrating that so many shows and movies elsewhere in the world are going the CGI route over 2-D animation. More often than not, what is being done internally as a means to produce a show cheaply, in turn, makes a show that also looks cheap.

Going a bit off-topic, this also extends to cut-scenes in games. Just when we got to the point where we could show crisp, clear 2-D animation, practically every studio switched to CGI. While this now makes any game that still bothers to create 2-D animation cut-scenes stand out even more, it is a sad state of affairs for any animation fan.
If we're talking about 90s, I think Life with Louie was the best of those years.

Whats your comment on Flash Animation? Its the closet thing we have to 2D animation cartoons like Adventure Time, MLP, and Gravity Falls.(If Adventure Time and Gravity Falls are Flash) but they are nothing compared to the cartoon I posted in my OP.

Was Samurai Jack Flash animation?

In general, I don't really like it. However, there are certain occasions where the artists just make that software bend to their will. One example of that, for me, is Ugly Americans. When I found out the show was animated in Flash, I was stunned. So, I guess I will say my official answer is; it's good when in the right hands.
Do yourself a favour and watch this film:

Be sure to watch past the first 1/3 of the trailer.

Really I can tell it was flash. It also looks like the same style used in Regular Show and Adventure Time.

park_84: Somewhat related: Cuphead
pretty much just this.

Then you got all the noise coming from UbiArt's direction, one might be inclined to believe 2-D cartoon-style games are on the verge of a renaissance.

Even though they do incorporate CGI elements Titan AE and The Iron Giant are the pinnacle of traditionally animated films (Disney excluded because, Disney) for me. I've seen a bajillion times but, I still fire em up whenever they pop up on netflix. I love the depth of the characters and aside from telling an entertaining story they both actually have an underlying message they convey. Pretty much anything Don Bluth, really.

Always with the orphans though...
I don't care if it's hand drawn, but I do really miss the art style.
There was a certain quality about the early 90's animation that makes me wish it would come back.. But, i'm probably just remembering it with nostalgia.

Like I said the 90s had The Prince of Egypt, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Titan A.E. gorgeous looking 2D Animation despite using CGI effects.
Nope, you're not the only one. I miss classic Looney Tunes, Scooby-Doo, and Alvin in the Chipmunks.

And tons of other hand-drawn animates cartoons pre-mid-90s. The modern cartoons are soulless crap.
