I think this project deserves a separate thread, as it is a remake of a kult game from a looooong time ago :)

Do you remember M.U.L.E.? This is for you.

This Kickstarter was once already live, but did not reach it's (a bit too high) target.
What I like is, that the developer took this as a learning, developed the game further and came back now with a lower target (and some nice stretch goals) and a nice video showing already a nice game.

The game in the video looks very cartoonic. And what exactly is this unique blend?

As I understand it correctly, the unique blend is, that you have to cooperate and compete with the other races to succeed.

This one is not a 1:1 remake of M.U.L.E. it also includes mechanisms from Settlers of Catan and Civilization.

The concept graphics of the races in the game just been presented, they do look quite adorable :)
