Yeah it's very fun, very innovative. Believe it or not, it was released 11 years ago, and till today, few have managed to emulate the complexity of it. Sigh.

I never liked Civs much. the historical theme caused them to be too dull mechanics-wise to be fun as games. Since I heard SMAC has stuff like altering terrain and ocean levels (all possible due to the permissive space theme), I have been wanting to play it.

After SMAC, the one game left which really needs to make its way here is Grim Fandango, according to many the best adventure game ever made. I tried to find it used, and was prepared to pay double the price of a new game, but found out GF would not run on modern systems. I'm sure some GoG magic would sort that out...

I would like to know if the Alien Crossfire expansion is included. If it is then I will jump up and down and say "HELL YEAH!" like a maniac after 4 cups of coffee. GOG, please! Until then, my enthusiasm will be quiet and subdued, like a turtle having sex on a hot day.
