I have about 46 game forums show up on the community page, and usually every time I get a new game, that game's series shows up by default on that page. But when I got the Alan Wake freebie, the Alan Wake series didn't show up on the community page, and still hasn't. Has anyone else noticed this when they got the free game?

Yes you are right, it did not show up. Lucky for me, one less subforum I need to click away (since I don't like a huge list there I only have forums added for games I played often and know a lot about so I might be able to answer questions)
That sometimes happens to me as well, even with bought games. Just search for Alan Wake using the "Find specific forum..." box and click the checkbox next to it to add it to the list if you want it there.
Night want to contact Support about it. I grabbed the games back when they were first released here and the subforum shows up on my long list.
Not really something that warrants contacting support over, just a small curiosity. As long as it doesn't affect my game shelf at least...

Here is the forum

If a forum is bugged and not displaying on the page, go to My Games under the My Account dropdown menu, select the game and there is a link to the forum there :)

No worries. As noted, it's easy enough to add it. Just thought you may want to let Support know so they could look into the glitchy behavior. As you say, it's not a big deal though. :)

Thanks for the reminder of doing that :)

Contacting GOG Support during the day results in better chances. ;-P

LOL - for some reason this morning my fingers are acting like sausages with minds of their own. You wouldn't believe how many times I had to redo my Hobbit's Birthday thread today before I caught all the blunders, errors, mistakes, and misspellings.

Oh yes I would!
I have the same trouble in three cases:
- before having finished the first coffee of the day;
- when I get up very early after having gone to bed very late;
- when the humidity levels are high.

Every single time, no exceptions. ;-)
