So what did everyone think that the ending was about? I'm not quite sure I get it, was it just an elaborate 'to be continued'? If so it's presumably for an episode where he has to go and pick up alice with a change of clothes and maybe a hot cup of coffee, if only he had something to keep it in!
His coffee kleptomania really should be the subject of one of the DLC episodes
Ahh crap, dropped the controller during the credits and accidently skipped them, is there anything at the end?
There was Alan writing. Something about "it was an ocean" and then three dots...
Nothing else and that might have been before the credits.
And the ending was a big to be continued stuff.
"It's not a lake, it's an ocean."
Well, my theory would be that Alan stayed underneath the lake and wants to try to control the darkness with his writing and creates new lady of the light from Rose.
But the darkness has a new vessel - Nightingale (you can see him standing behind Rose in the ending sequence). And the "it's not a lake, it's an ocean" could refer to the fact that the darkness already spread and it's not only in the lake.
