Hi all,

i would love to buy the game at gog, but at steam, u can get it actually for 7 €, so around 9 Dollars...

Pls make it here also... i would prefer buying at gog..

Greeting...
On Steam its marked down in a sale from 28€ to 7€ in a sale, so they are essentially the same price outside of a sale, GoG have sales too, maybe wait for that or just get it on Steam I guess.
In the meantime make me a sandwish plz.

The Steam version is crippled with always-on DRM, the GOG version is not. So the GOG version is the way to go. Money? Who cares about a bit of money when you can be sure you actually OWN the game you purchase with no persistent on-line requirement whatsoever?
so it seems u have enough money... my bad...

very useful bro...

I don't mean to question you, but I'm not sure if the Steam version has always-on DRM since Alan Wake isn't listed on this site: http://steamdrm.flibitijibibo.com/index.php?page=DRM_Lists/The_Big_DRM_List

But I'm not sure if the above site includes games which simply require a Steam connection to be online, since that is a list of all the types of other DRM.

I meant: Steam = on-line DRM. Yeah, I know, you can play it off-line... AFTER you loaded it on Steam first. But I don't have the assurance that 10 years from now Steam will be on-line as well.

And yes: I'm still playing games that are 10-year old and older....

I wanted to oppose you but then I recalled I have played a bit of Final Fantasy 8 recently. Oops. :)

Doesn't bother me usually, but then again I'm not one concerned with "owning" my games as much as some people.

Steam goes down? There would be chaos.

Oh, nice. Thanks for tip!

On the record, a few weeks ago you could get Alan Wake American Nightmare for $2 here, so I do think AW will be possible to get around $8 on GOG some day. But it's a bet on a wild card.

I can buy the Full Box Collector's Edition at Wal*Mart for $14.99 not sure why it has to be $30.00 on GOG.
Alan Wake Franchise is on sale at Steam right now for $10. Two games plus bonus contents.
