PoSSeSSeDCoW: I'm not buying any more Microsoft games for the 360 until they restart publishing them for the PC.
Well, I want the games on PC too. But I am not optimistic about it, for the next few years. =/
Wishbone: Let me just add a voice to this side. It annoys me to no end that Microsoft have pulled an Epic like this. In fact, they're much worse than Epic, since their business didn't just start out on the PC, the major part of it is still there. They seem to have regressed back to the 80's, when PCs were only for work, not games.
MS killing the PC gaming is better for them (nothing is perfect, but it would be better), they happen to have their
own platform and
own exclusive titles for that platform.
Add that to a user base who think it's fine to buy X number of DLCs for $15 (yes, MW2) and pay more than $50 for new games, then the party is done for MS and their friendly publishers.
And add the harassment that is GFWL and DRM for some players, keep and keep and keep punishing them until they go mad and buy a 360; plus paying a gold LIVE subscription, of course.
We lost Ensemble, Epic Games, Remedy, Bungie, etc etc which had their early titles all for PC and all feed (financed) by PC gamers. (And maybe we'll loose Raven Software, soon.)
