HP UPDATE

Exile: 43/53
Lucas: 45/57
Kemuel: 49/62
Juma: 26/59
Guide: 47/50

Party took small amounts of damage from hunger.

You arrive at Fox's camp in the marshes just before dawn. You are hidden in the brush. The guide points out a cabin, which he claims to be Fox's location.

You can barely see it in the distance, it is but a speck on the horizon.

He tells you he would like to scout ahead to determine the best way to attack.

Any character may choose,

1.) "Very well, figure out as much as you can and meet us back here in 15 minutes."
2.) "Very well, but leave the Rock of Endirum with us."
3.) "No. We will all scout together."
"Leave the rock of Endirum with us, cousin."

Landeril: Change direction
avatar
stoicsentry: You change directions, throwing the man off your trail for a short time, and hopefully diverting suspicion from your contact. However, he soon catches up to you once again! He follows you at a safe pace, but you can see him in the corner of your eye.

Any ONE character may choose, does the party:

1. Continue walking at normal speed, acting "natural"?
2. Run away?

stoicsentry: OOC: Exile, are you going to answer Kemuel about the Blue Hand or are you giving him the silent treatment? LOL
OOC: Um did not see this, but where did the Blue Hand come up and can I begin explaining Exile's past?

Landeril: OOC: Um did not see this, but where did the Blue Hand come up and can I begin explaining Exile's past?
OOC: Kemuel's Unstable Amulet of Valor morphed into a Blue Hand and pointed at you. Yeah, I was wondering why you didn't answer his question about it. I think now (while the Guide is scouting) might be a good time to tell him what you know.
"Kemuel." The Shadow Knight whispered, curling his finger to invite the male closer, "The Blue Hand is a Thieves Guild Symbol. It was once my home, as a thief. The Leader of the ring, was called the Blue Hand. I was The Deep Shadow, and was part of the Guild Council. Its a warning when an ex-thief sees the symbol of his guild."

Before proceeding, I just wanted to give Kemuel a chance to respond to Exile if he wants, and Exile a chance to expand on the thought if he wants.

If not, that's OK too, just let me know... and we'll continue.
OOC: Crap, sorry to keep everyone waiting!!!

Kemuel looked out over the horizon as he pondered the words of Exile. His mouth drawn into a thin line as he went through the possibilities of this revelation.

"Exile, considering who you were then, should we expect an attack? Is this Amulet giving me prior notice to guard you? How do we proceed, friend?"
"We'll it seems like we have an attraction for danger," Lucas noted, "So what should we do?"
"Be ready Kemuel. The Blue Hand didn't like me then. I doubt his like for me has grown in this time. I was the best among the guild, and he didn't like it. Even the Guildmaster of the time said it. He tried to kill me, only to have me discovered by the Shadowy Moon Knights." Exile sighed as he shook his head, lifting his eyes towards the camp, "Stay armed, stay sharp. Be at the ready my brothers. Let me take the lead here."
"My sword and my shield are yours Exile. If indeed the Blue Hand lies in wait, together the three of us will prevail."
The guide listens intently to your conversation, perhaps too intently. He removes his backpack, turns his back to you, and discreetly removes the Crystal Rock of Endirum, placing it on the ground.

The guide puts his backpack on and sneaks away.

"I'll be back soon," he whispers, as he creeps forward silently to do some scouting.

OOC: Will update soon.
"Uh where did the guide go?" Lucass realized, "I guess he left during the conversation. Hopefully he is just scouting the area."
"At least he left the rock, as agreed. Nevertheless, perhaps We should have waited until he left to have this conversation."
"Well if we see any army or assassins or both of those coming at us, at least we know what not to do next time," Lucas scarcastically remarked.
"And what to do now." The Shadow Knight muttered as he sat upon the earth, drawing his longsword out to begin cleaning it calmly. He was calm before the storm
