Kemuel moves one space southeast, to get out in front of the arrow fire. The dragon statue mocks you, glowing ever brighter, pulsating with energy.

Exile casts fireball in the area between Bandit (8) and Bandit (9). Checking for burning damage:

Bandit (6): 1 damage.
Bandit (7): 11 damage.
Bandit (8): 1 damage.

Rohan casts his darts in the direction of Bandit (6). Bandit (6) takes 15 damage.

Arkades dashes forwards, swinging his weight around his cane to slide behind the statue. "I cannot believe priests adventure in robes - what I wouldn't give for platemail!" He checked his robes for tears and gripped his cane more tightly, trying to catch his breath. "And a scroll of protection, and mayhap a magical barrier...ooh, and maybe a good kite shield." He continued grumbling under his breath as he waited for his more martial companions to take care of the bandits. "I should have stayed under cover - my work's best done after a fight, when people are wounded. Or after a stay in town, when people have...err, sins to confess."

Wounded by the arrows, Kemuel stumbled and drew short breaths from the pain. He stood firm in his position though, determined that his allies remain able to defeat the foes ahead.

He grasped the handle of his elegantly crafted Longsword, his mouth a grim line etched across his face, almost holding himself back from charging into the Bandits.

However, Kemuel was certain that the Bandits would fall long before he did, the powerful arts of Rohan and Exile would see to that. He had to remain strong and see this out.

OOC: Assuming you're adopting a defensive position to shield Exile and Rohan from harm, right? You didn't intend to move anywhere, did you? Correct me if I'm wrong.

The dart grazes the cheek of Bandit (7), doing only 4 damage. You assure yourself, "I'll get him next time."

Bandit (5) shoots an arrow at Exile. Kemuel knocks the weak shot aside, it does no damage.

Bandit (6) shoots an arrow at Exile. It falls right in front of him, having barely even left his bow.

Bandit (7) shoots an arrow at Rohan. It falls right in front of him, having barely even left his bow. Ouch!

Bandit (8) fires an excellent strike at Rohan, but Kemuel intercedes. His skill as a Knight reduces the damage from 15 to 10. Kemuel suffers 10 damage.

Bandit (9) moves W, W. He is now at close range with Kemuel.

Seizing the opportunity, Kemuel, with a pain wrought grimace, launched an attack at the Bandit who had come within his range. Finally a chance to redress the damage he'd taken!

Whirling his Longsword above his head with a fine-tuned agility, Kemuel hacked it down ferociously between the neck and shoulder of the Bandit.

(OOC: I was kinda hoping to be near to the statue in case things went south in the battle and maybe use it, but mainly be in a position to shield Exile.)

OOC: Ok. You're well within range to pull the handle on the statue if you choose and also, you're in good position to shield Exile... though not quite as much for Rohan. You can move and still be in range (it's roughly melee range to use it.)

Kemuel's swing is almost perfect, and Bandit (9) takes 16 damage + 3 (blessed with strength) = 19 damage.
