As you enter the pass, a great fear comes over you. Suddenly you understand just why the Nog scouting parties wouldn't venture here with you.
A thick tension settles over you, and the presence of evil is immediately felt.
The passage is narrow, and in a few minutes, you realize there is no turning back.
From a hedge of rock ahead, four white eyes stare you down in the distance. They are watching your every move. You can feel their gaze piercing you, creating fear in your heart.

OOC: The party has encountered 2 level 15 Minor Demons.
The Demons each have 150 HP and a maximum attack of 40. They have two skill fields: "Fear" and "Claws."
"Fear" is a spell. A good-great will result in one player character temporarily leaving the battlefield. The character is not killed, but must miss combat for a set amount of turns.
"Claws" is a standard melee attack.

Demons are highly vulnerable to SLAYING and PRIESTCRAFT.
Slaying a demon functions as a melee attack with your primary weapon (or fists only if you're using a missile weapon) that is combined with an "order" to the demon. You can say "Begone, demon!", "Return to the flames!" or any codewords of your choice that guide your character's spirit.

Initiative each round will be:
1. Any player character
2. Any demon
3. Any player character
4. Any player character

OOC: You are currently at long range for this combat round and so are prohibited from using melee attacks.
Currently you can only launch a melee attack by using Athletics (charging/sprinting towards a demon and attacking them with your fists/feet/etc.)
You can use any other skill besides a traditional melee attack.
Any questions, just ask.

One player character may use a skill now.
