A puzzled look crosses Kamelion's face. "That's odd" he muses. Before casting a protective shield around himself and moving to examine the statues closely.
Kamelion rolled a 5/7: Abjuration. Kamelion is shielded from magical effects.

OOC: Exile, I just realized either you haven't placed your 9 die roll points or I simply forgot to add them. In any event, can you let me know how you want to divide them up between Longsword, Stealth, Necromancy and Elemental?

A closer examination of the statues reveals that each statue differs in composition, in color, height and appearance. Perhaps you should bring a description of these statues to the master Druids at the Temple of Earth and Sky, they might be able to offer insight on the subject.

OOC: Campaign unlocked: Shamanic Convergence.

There we go, there will be at least 3 campaign choices for next time... so that's a good start.

OOC: Shall we venture into the pass of the Blood Peaks now?
OOC: PM sent and sure
"Where the heck are those three?" I ask as I wait for Exile, Kamelion, and Leh to catch up.

MrWilli: "Where the heck are those three?" I ask as I wait for Exile, Kamelion, and Leh to catch up.
"Maybe they're having Druid for dinner? I heard they go well with a nice red wine..." quips Jack as he waits for the rest of the group. "I suppose we should press forward a bit as I am sure they will catch up."

JudasIscariot: "Maybe they're having Druid for dinner? I heard they go well with a nice red wine..." quips Jack as he waits for the rest of the group. "I suppose we should press forward a bit as I am sure they will catch up."
"Eh you can go, I'll wait a couple more minutes for them," I reply as I cross my arms.
Exile shook his head to the other two "Time to head back." He stated as he turns back towards the pass. A feeling of danger was passing along his spine as he began to move away.
Reluctantly Kamelion sets off to join the others. Making sure his route will take him past the
red Smond trees.
Leh Dzebo

Leh decides to follow Kamelion, since he had no idea where the others went. "Nothing to see here anyway" he said with a deep sigh.
Exile would come within sight of Jack soon, holding up an azure flame to show his approach. "Yo Jackie."
The party manages to collect 30 beautiful red leaves from the Smond tree, 5 for each of them.

OOC: The 5 leaves take up 1 spot in your inventory. 1 leaf can be eaten at a time. When eaten while using a skill, the leaf will provide a one-time +1 bonus to the die roll for that skill. For example, if you can roll a 5 in Longsword, but you eat a leaf while using the skill, you will roll a 6 sided die instead of a 5 sided die. Any further questions, just ask.

...will post about your movement through the mountain pass after I have updated everyone's inventory.
As you enter the pass, a great fear comes over you. Suddenly you understand just why the Nog scouting parties wouldn't venture here with you.

A thick tension settles over you, and the presence of evil is immediately felt.

The passage is narrow, and in a few minutes, you realize there is no turning back.

From a hedge of rock ahead, four white eyes stare you down in the distance. They are watching your every move. You can feel their gaze piercing you, creating fear in your heart.

OOC: The party has encountered 2 level 15 Minor Demons.

The Demons each have 150 HP and a maximum attack of 40. They have two skill fields: "Fear" and "Claws."

"Fear" is a spell. A good-great will result in one player character temporarily leaving the battlefield. The character is not killed, but must miss combat for a set amount of turns.

"Claws" is a standard melee attack.

____________________________________________________________________

Demons are highly vulnerable to SLAYING and PRIESTCRAFT.

Slaying a demon functions as a melee attack with your primary weapon (or fists only if you're using a missile weapon) that is combined with an "order" to the demon. You can say "Begone, demon!", "Return to the flames!" or any codewords of your choice that guide your character's spirit.
____________________________________________________________________

Initiative each round will be:

1. Any player character
2. Any demon
3. Any player character
4. Any player character

____________________________________________________________________

OOC: You are currently at long range for this combat round and so are prohibited from using melee attacks.

Currently you can only launch a melee attack by using Athletics (charging/sprinting towards a demon and attacking them with your fists/feet/etc.)

You can use any other skill besides a traditional melee attack.

Any questions, just ask.
