Making more games doesn't mean it's not going to go that route. It just means they're making another game.

My opinion of Call of Duty: Black Ops

The game is beautiful, and the particle effect are some of the best I've ever seen. .The single player has a decent plot, and is generally really good, but its as linear as games get. It also never lets up on the 'cinematic' action scenes, which sounds good on paper, but is actually a really bad thing in practice. I enjoyed the single player, but I don't think its worth $60

The multiplayer is excellent on the surface. I was in heaven for the first couple of days I had the game. Then I started to notice its problems. The game has no variety. All of the game modes play exactly the same. Just shoot at everything you see. Unless its a team game of course. Then its just shoot at everything thats marked as an enemy. There is no reason to use teamwork as it makes little difference. Even the Domination mode is pretty much the same thing as deathmatch. You just hang around a specific area instead of wandering around. The maps are pretty much the same all over, so what does it matter where on the map your are? It doesn't effect the gameplay at all.

Black Ops is the first CoD game I played. I decided It was about time to jump on the bandwagon. I now regret the decision. Its not a bad game, Its just sort of a 'One Trick Pony'. I need more from my multiplayer. At least I was able to get a decent price for my copy at the local CD exchange.
