I am not in, thanks!

As for lesser known games, I don't know if this counts, but Chronicles of Riddick Assault on Dark Athena from GOG is a nice action/stealth game; I'd watch a gameplay video to decide if you like it, though.

The games Intrusion 2 and Hammerfight have been in HBs before, so they're probably not less known, but I think they're not talked about enough for the amount of gameplay fun they offer (if you like those kinds of fast, action-based games); the latter is more physics-based, fyi.

edited to be not in because I've been lucky with giveaways lately. Thanks Sigil and Sachys for being awesome!!

I'm in. Thanks for holding the torch, Sachys.

As for the game, I remember enjoying Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves

I'm not in as I was just chosen as winner.
Wanna say thanks to Sachys and The SIGIL for another giveaway week.

Lesser known? I think Panzer Corps fits. It's the remake of classic Panzer General and it includes some features of Panzer General's sequels as well. It's published by Matrix Games, known for hardcore strategy wargame collection. Their market seems rather niche, strategy/wargame fans. You'll mostly play in turn based and dealing with hexes.
Panzer Corps is DRM free.
In, please. Thanks The Sigil, thanks Mr. Chimpspeaker, +rep.

Many games I'm fond of went mostly unrecognized. ONE for the PlayStation is, one.
Count me in!
As for a lesser known game, let me think... Do the ones in the Chzo Mythos count? They're far from perfect, but I really enjoyed playing through them.
Thanks for the entries and additional participation so far - keep it rolling!

For myself, one of the more underrated and lesser known (well, as I see it) RTS games out there is Paraworld: a Jules Vernian feeling game set in a world of dinosaurs with Victorian styled explorers as your heroes. The variety of three different armies you can take to battle gives an additional strategic level, the graphics are fair and after a few levels I found the gameplay more engrossing than I thought.
Currently on Gamersgate it seems: http://www.gamersgate.co.uk/DD-PW/paraworld
In! Thanks again Sachys and the kind Sigil folks.

Now, as for a lesser known favorite, always had a soft spot for Times of Lore which is absent from GOG, and haven't heard it mentioned here too often. Spent hours as a socially challenged kid drawing maps for this game, trying to figure our where all the different quest NPCs were, since there was never an in-game map to the best of my knowledge. They don't make 'em like that no more...
In, +1

I always had a soft spot for Realms of the Haunting ever since it was originally release (still got the game original CDs) a adventure-FPS hybrid with a great horror story and FMV cut scenes (and the acting is manage even to be decent!) the only down sides are the atrocious mazes and the idiot end of the game.
Count me in. Thanks Sachys & The Sigil.

As for a lesser known game, it would probably have to be Transport Tycoon. I'm sure most here have already played/known of it... so it isn't really a lesser known game...
Count me in.
Thanks as always.
+1
Please count me in as well :)

Eric the Unready and the IF game Trinity are mostly forgotten classics

Please re-read the OP and amend your entry!
I'm a big fan of Blackstone Chronicles. It's a great horror adventure from the late 90s.
