genkicolleen: I'm in~!

My daughter still uses her portable CD player over her iPod, but then, she's a creature of habit, and it's easier to pop in a CD and find what you want than it is to find something on an iPod (right? I don't have one, myself. lol~)
That is the one awesome thing about CDs.
I'm in, thanks for the giveaway! +1
I'm in and I also remember the ZIp drives and LS-120 Drives. VHS-C was supposed to put 8mm out, and the game console was supposed to make PC gaming obsolete as well. HD DVD anyone? I actually own one HD DVD - Serenity I own Serenity on every format I could find actually. I have three unopened 4GB Extreme III compact flash cards that I bought at a good price expecting to get a good digital camera and use them. Then the whole SD card came out and BAM.
The 3DO game console, which certainly wasn't helped by its $700 launch price! Please count me into the giveaway drawing. Thank you. +1
I'm in!
Thanks, I'm in.
I'm in thanks.
Count me in, thank you.
In and thanks.

Another example: HD-DVD. Gone so fast that i didn't even see a unit around here:P
I'm in again, thanks!

And I got no idea what you want us to talk about, so I'll stay out of the discussion :D
Since a lot of people have already talked about the main systems and tech that didn't catch on I would like to mention a more recent one i.e 3D TV. All the big manufacturers jumped on the band wagon after the giant success of Avatar and they were banking on it to be huge success, but that didn't happen as most people are not comfortable with wearing glasses for a prolonged period of time in their homes as a lot more time is spent on watching TV as compared to movies. While there are 3D TVs that do not require glasses the tech is far from perfect so for now 3D TVs are dead and I am glad about it. At CES 2014 the major focus was 4K technology which the manufacturers are banking on now and 3D didn't get any push from all the big players there.

As always I will continue to try my luck so please count me in, thanks again to the consistently awesome Sigil and Sachys. :)
