I don't have a lot of links, but I do remember Xylem's kind replies to me when I was very new and I appreciated his giveaways very much, even though I never won one of them. I hope Ian, Xylem, and the others do come back someday soon. They are missed

Thanks for this Colonel, otherwise I would have missed it, I don't browse too much through the threads, I just overlook and pick one.

On another matter, I just had some homemade KFC style fried chicken, there's a lot of guys using your not so secret recipe at youtube. :)

I like giveaways that encourage audience participation and HomerSimpson's giveaways have been a major inspiration to me. For example, my Giveaway Giveaway was in part inspired by this giveaway. I'm always thinking about how to make interesting giveaways that are still accessible, and Homer's giveaway not only fulfilled many of the criteria of being inclusive and fun to follow, but it also gave me the idea of making other people come up with things.

Probably not a terribly exciting story, sorry.
