Hey GOG. Thanks for the soundtracks that you provide with the games, but seeing myself as a "quality junkie", is there any chance of you guys (and girls :p) releasing the soundtracks as 320bit MP3s instead of 19xbit ones?

I guess it's hard to miss that bloody big blue domain name on the first page of the manual. It seems that Blizzard have an equally hard time keeping track of their manuals.

Hi ;)
We are always adding the materials in highest quality we can (we get from publishers).
If the materials are better quality we are not changing it for lower, believe me :) So if we have 320kbs MP3- we are adding them.
Unfortunately it's not that easy with older games. In most cases publishers do not have materials for the games and sometimes they even have to buy their own game for example.
About Shogo manual- as far as I remember the publisher send us other manual few months ago so now on our servers is proper one.
We had few games (3 maybe 4, I'm not sure) that had the same situation (we released game with the first manual we've get, and replace when we've got other one) but it was only if we couldn't do anything else. I can assure you that since many months we don't have any Replacementdocs manuals :)
And yes- we have to have permission for every single bonus we are giving.
Ufff, that was long post :)

Nah that wasn't a long post, I didn't have to scroll to read it. Good info though, always interesting to hear behind the scenes stuff, it's like GOG with the directors commentary

It would be great if we could get a list over the games that have had their installers updated.
EDIT:
This was probably slightly off-topic, but it would still be good with a single list here in CD, with a list of updates to game extras and installers and such.

If we update the installer there is always an info on product forum (we do the update if there is a problem, and then we write an info in this problems thread).
The same with bonuses- we change it when it's something wrong and we write about it.
We didn't announce replacing manuals because it was minor issue- manuals doesn't change, the only thing that is different, is that now we are not using temporary files with Replacementdocs logo. Only few games like this one year ago had that issue, now it shouldn't happened.
And if we are adding some new bonuses there is always news on our main page.
