Here's an interesting item for discussion...
A Vampyre Story is a new point-and-click adventure game from Autumn Moon, created by Bill Tiller, of Curse of Monkey Island fame. It looks ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, and is sure to please a lot of us old school LucasArts graphic adventure fans.
I know this is Good OLD Games, but would a game like this be considered for distribution here? After all, it's essentially a graphically updated example of a classic gaming model. It may be brand new, but it'll likely be heavily compared to the Monkey Island series.
We've had a couple games up for dispute recently, as to whether they classify as Good Old Games or not... I'd love to hear what people think of this one.

I don't think the age of the game is important at all. The problem is that you can hardly persuade Autumn Moon to sell their game for 10 bucks without DRM. I believe GOG would gladly sell almost any game (good or bad, new or old) as long as they can get license to it. Just a thought...

I'd agree on the price point, but that's besides the point.
If GOG would sell almost any game, the GOG acronym loses a lot of its potency... not that I particularly mind :-)
I'd rather have GoG to focus on the Good-old-Games and when in an couple of years the vampire story becomes one... well, they can add it to their list if it indeed turns out to be a good game.
Personally, I'll be running to buy the game the minute it appears to my local game store (tomorrow I think it is :)
