Thanks a lot for the service. I know I probably won't get a reply on this, but seeing as to how I could have possibly acted like a tool on the previous post, I just want to say THANK YOU!
I'm mucho impressed with GOG actually, now that I'm more sober. Well actually I played Jagged Alliance today, and I'm really impressed that the game works so flawlessly without me needing to configure anything at all
Before I bought anything, my first impression of GOG was that it's an abandonware site looking to charge consumers for the games. Not that that's a bad thing, since games like Freespace 2 can't even be found on other abandonware sites. However, many apologies for that misconception - the first game I installed left a profound impression on me. It was fuss free, and no technical problems. In the past, setting up DOSBox with games was always a pain, so I was really really pleased that the game worked completely well without any bugs (so far)
Also, thanks for all the goodies that come with the games. I understand that GOG probably doesn't make much out of the games it provides. Firstly, the most expensive game costs only $9.99. Secondly, GOG has to pay for the monthly bandwidth of downloading (download speed was 200kbps for me. Very impressive, considering I'm from Asia)
It's difficult to not appreciate the tenacity and dedication that comes along to creating such a service. So, thanks once again GOG! Thanks for Jagged Alliance, and I look forward to buying more games here!
I too, would like to thank everyone at GOG.
You do so much more than just supply the games. You make them work on moedern machines, and you do it with no fuss at all. The games run perfectly. You make sure there is no drm for us to worry about. The games are VERY good prices. You even give support, if anyone has problems with the games. But if that's not enough - many (if not all) games even have extra goodies available for download after purchase.
Thankyou GOG!

I'd also lke to say a big thanks to everyone NOT at GOG because I don't want them to feel left out.
Big thanks guys & girls, whatever it was you did or didn't do, I'm sure you did or didn't do it to the best of your ability.
Or not.
best way for them to get this, is to actually send it in to their support line, please do so, please?
I'll join in on the GOG love-fest too! I find myself buying even games I already own because the installs are so hassle-free and i like the fact I can always re-download, and of course all of the little touches like the extras, and adding installed games to the game browser in vista.
But I should note I've really been enjoying not only the service/store but the community too; there's a pretty nice bunch of folks on these forums :)
Good on you lowyhong for recognizing ti and letting gog know. Well done. :o)

There's typically only a few people who post back on the forums, from what conversation I have had with GOG, it appears as if they spend most of their time actually working as opposed to trolling the forums, as I do. I would gather, like I said previously, the best way to get the information that you love GOG passed along would be to send them a support ticket. It's not bad to show your support here in the forums, but even in the support area it says "for website, other problems, or praise, use this!" so I recommend sending the praise directly to their inbox, as opposed to forcing them to check the forums for love.

GOG Defenitey above and beyond other websites who's trying to do similar things.
For exceptional communication, for excellent design, for visual appeal, for giving what people asked for, and etc etc.
People can probably add much more to it.*
