My favorite RPG of all times is Planescape: Torment, because it's one of the few I've played that actually had an interesting and original setting that was fun to learn about and explore; and because it combined two of my favorite genres, RPG and adventure game, focussing more on story, dialogues, choices and puzzles than on combat and looting.

Unfortunately I already have two copies of it, so I'm not participating, but +1 for the giveaway and thanks to wpegg and you for giving other people the chance to play it! :)

although most wouldn't think much of this game. looking back i think the most fun i've had with an rpg was with gothic 1, I explored every pixel of that isolated mining region, every little ruin and cave and I loved every bit of it, maybe it was just the right game at the right time for me.

ups, sorry! :D SW:Kotor is my favourite rpg. ;)

Chrono Trigger on SNES because it has a very good time travel storyline, beautiful artworks, anime-styled characters from Akira Toriyama, nice soundtracks, very entertaining battle system, cool combined special moves and multi endings.

alot would scoff, its been a tough choice, but i personally get the best feeling from dragon age origins, the human origin. it just gives me that great adventuring feel, especially at the start, venturing out on my first step in a huge quest to save the world after SPOILER duncan and the king get killed at the first big battle, etc.

ive played most of the greats, baldurs (love them too) icewind dale, planescape, TOEE, gothic so on and so forth, but this one is the one that always brings a squishy feeling.


needless to say, DA 2 was a slight let down, but i still dont mind it.

Indeed, ladies and gents, as you might have deduced from the shameless sobbing, Planescape: Torment is trully my favourite RPG of all times, my Holy Grail of gaming. Such joy to see this then! But, alas, much as I crave for it in all its Widows 7 compatible glory (and the Chris Avellone and Colin McComb book that comes with it), I do still have the original 4-CD retail version in perfect working condition, and thus I must abstain for the sake of those good people that have yet to play it...

*howls of greedy fan-induced anguish*

My favourite CRPG of all time?
Most likely Planescape: Torment. I have the 4 disc version on a honourary "easy to reach" spot in my game shelf.
So I don't need to enter this giveaway, I already have that outstanding game.

Forgive my ignorance but what or who is wpegg?

Anyway I am in, I know this instant a featured GoG but for me I would have to say Final Fantasy 8 is my all time favourite RPG game. I spent up to 250 hours until I was at the end of the game and still wanted to unlock everything so sent over another 100 hours playing it trying to unlock all that I could. By the time that I had finished it I had spent over 360 hours playing that game and I can easily say it was one of the best experiences of my life, I love that game so much.

I am now looking for another epic RPG to play and have heard only good reviews form it and it came no.13 in IGN's top 100 games of all time (I think it was IGN). Anyway I would love the chance to play the game, I have the box set of Boldar's Gate 1,2 Icewind Dale 1,2 and Neverwinter Nights 1,2. I am missing this game in my collection. :) Help me fill this emptiness in my soul that is craving an epic RPG by passing it onto me. I wont go unplayed unfinished with me :)

Torment is my favourite RPG. It would be cool to win a copy that can be installed and run easily, but if I win I'd feel bad depriving the game from someone who hasn't played it.
