I was really fortunate and humbled to win some games thanks to the entries of others in a couple of recent GAs and I'd like to return the favor. I bought the BTA tier of the HB Jumbo #3 Bundle in order to gift the games, and admittedly pick up Blackguards for myself since it's been on both Steam and GoG wishlists since it released. I love the Dark Eye setting.

On to the important bit, right? The rules.

1. Must have positive rep of at least 50
2.Must have been a member here since September
3.Must not be on the list of known scammers
4. Must have a beard (kidding!)
5.You can enter for others, but only 2 entries on behalf of another person will count.
6. If you're in state in caps and bold if you can I'M IN!
If you're not in then simply don't do that, but feel free to answer the questions, especially if entering for someone else!

The games:

Tesla Effect:Tex Murphy Adventure:Tell me who your favorite fictional detective is, provide a picture if able.

Always Sometimes Monsters: Tell me who/what your favorite fictional monster is, provide a picture if able.

GRID : Solve for X. Tell me what your favorite fictional vehicle is, absolutely no real pictures of boring cars! Pics of interesting vehicles only, the more outlandish the better.

Full Mojo Rampage(2): Since it's a rogue-like, tell me who your favorite fictional rogue is, provide a picture if able.

Euro Truck Simulator 2: If you were a truck, what kind of truck would you be, and why?

Updated: El Chimp Sachys has kindly donated a copy of Euro Truck Simulator 2 and Full Mojo Rampage, which means 2 winners for that game! Please go and uprate this post here:

Since no one claimed the keys for Ultima 4+5+6 and Ultima 7 on GOG from the Valhalla GA, I'm going to offer those games as well, thanks to IamSinistar. Please uprate his post here:
http://www.gog.com/forum/general/drmfree_time_machine_sale_game_list/post22

For your entry to count here, tell of your first time playing the Ultima games, any of them. If you want to win and haven't played them, then explain why you want to try them out.

NOTE: You may be in for more than one game, but you cannot win more than 2 games. I am trying to reward multiple people.

This Giveaway will continue until I feel like there are enough entries to justify calling an end.

My answers to the questions:

1. Rick Deckard from Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep and Bladerunner. Awesome character in a fantastic story.
Admittedly I discovered the character first through the movie and then read the great book afterwards.

2.Dragons. I don't consider them merely monsters but they're one of the oldest fictional creatures in existence across all cultures and I find that fascinating. Of course as a kid reading about Smaug the Terrible had a profound influence as well. http://wallpaperandbackground.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Smaug-The-Dragon.jpg

3. This is a tough one...I'm going to answer with the Millenium Falcon. I fell in love with that "hunk of junk" the first moment I laid eyes on are as a beardling watching Star Wars with my family on the telly.

4.Favorite rogue...Han Solo. See a pattern here? Seriously though, he was the first fictional character I ever wanted to be like, again at a very young age. I could already tell he was way cooler than whiney Luke Skywalker, with his cocky grin and assured swagger. Behind it all was a heart of gold and a romantic.

Not in, but thanks for the dwarven giveaway! :D (I will enter for another user later)

Favorite fictional detective? Hmmm... well for now I'll just leave this here :P
In for Sage, please fine sir. A big thank you and a +1 for the awesome giveaway.

Q. Tell me who your favourite fictional detective is?
A. Sherlock Holmes of course :-). (The original, not the (IMO) horrible modernised BBC remake.)

Q. Tell me who/what your favourite fictional monster is, provide a picture if able.
A. Okay, so it's not my favourite monster, but I will go with a lesser known monster, Jack-In-Irons. Jack-In-Irons was a mythical giant of Yorkshire (English) lore who haunts lonely country roads, eager to find a worthy foe to battle. He is covered with chains and wears the heads of his murdered victims. He wields a large, menacing spiked club. No picture sadly, as it's a little known monster.

Another English giant shares a similar name with this site, his name being Goemagot (but is also know as Gogmagog, Goemagog or Gogmagoc). It is believed that the name comes from the biblical Gog and Magog, but there is no real evidence to show the origin of the name.

Goemagot was a detestable legendary giant in English folklore. Goemagot was a giant inhabitant of Albion, and was thrown off a cliff during a wrestling match with another giant called Corineus.

During the coronation of Queen Elizabeth I, the coronation in London had effigies of the two giants and were described as "Gogmagot the Albion" and "Corineus the Britain".

Q. Tell of your first time playing the Ultima games, any of them. If you want to win and haven't played them, then explain why you want to try them out.
A. Well I have never played them, so I can't answer that part. But I would really like to play them, I asked a kind dwarf for them a while ago but he refused, something about me not having a beard :-). Of course I am joking, our lovely host had previously offered me the games, but unfortunately I'm not sure I would play them. So it's better the games go to a loving home. But thank you again Ragnarblackmane for the generous offer.

they are great and an inventive update]adaption of holmes for the 21th century

Okay, calm down. That is only my opinion, I know many people like the modern adaptation, but just because you do, doesn't mean everyone has to. We all have our different likes and dislikes.

David Suchet was wonderful as Hercule Poirot. I remember reading that someone is considering making a prequel series, following his exploits when he was younger. It's possible that it was the BBC, as I think they recently made a deal with the Agatha Christie estate, but I could be mistaken.

eeeeh im not too keen on the idea of a prequel series about poirot
somethings are best left to the imagination

but suchet is absolutley the best poirot ( even if he was a bit ...pissed in orient express a bit too pissed actually ) like jeremey brett is the best classic holmes

I loved all the effort Suchet put into the role. He spend a lot of time studying the character and the books to get into character and be as much like Poirot as he could. And the fact he lost all that weight for the end episodes (due to the character being ill) shows how committed he was.

Don't forget to answer the questions yourself. I'm interested to see what your favourite things are.

well nobody could even come close to suchet in the role of poirot
i just think his depiction of poirot in the orient express is a bit off

poirot is livid while in the book and the audiobook (narrated by suchet ) poirot seems to borrow a phrase from the book philsophical about the whole situation
Thanks for the giveaway, Ragnarblackmane. Despite my beard, I am not in. Enjoy Blackguards!
I'M IN (and have a beard too!) for Ultima 4+5+6 only :)
I can't really recall the first time I played the Ultima series, But I do remember launching Ultima Underworld for the first time on a bleak winter night at 1993 on my first 486 PC and only to later realize that by the time I looked up from the screen the sun was already up :)
I liked and the new [url=http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1475582/]Sherlock and "Mike" Wazowski :)

Can you please provide more info about your experience with Ultima too?
