OldFatGuy: Hint 2 says the first, third, and fifth characters are the same. If we test our theory from above on those characters we get:
M was given as the 1st character, and 1 character to the left of M is "L"
O was given as the 3rd character, and 3 characters to the left of O is "L"
Q was given as the 5th character, and 5 characters to the left of Q is "L"
Oh damn, I was close this time! After I figure out what stands for the four W, I start thinking the relation between your ABC's phrase and the number of the letters it self in the alphabet.
I tried with the next letter of each one character with no luck, so I gave up because thought I was going into a complete opposite way :( hahahaha.
Anyway, thanks for puzzle, was fun. Also, i tried to redeem the first code in Steam aaaand, it wasn't redeemed, so I get the game. Bad luck for those who really want it. Steam should have a way to verify codes, like GOG or PS Store.
