Heh. I bought Europa Universalis for $0.5...just to test GG's service. :P
I ended up getting the Arogs Naval Yard expansion for Sword of the Stars. And I got it for "free" thanks to those Bluecoin thingies they reward you.
Yeah, when I bought Necrovision a few months ago I hardly had to pay anything thanks to those coins. Still can't figure out exactly how, when and why I'm awarded them, but I will not complain.

Question regarding didimatic: some of the games listed on Steam state that the DRM status is unknown. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Steam games only have one DRM - Steam itself?

Some games have additional 3rd party DRM.

I've found you get blue coins just for buying stuff. 0.5 coins for every $0.01 spent.

That's incredibly retarded, all along I thought Steam was the only DRM used. Thanks man, I'll have to keep a close watch on what I buy on Steam next time.

You also get coins for contributing reviews. I think I got like a thousand coins for posting a Mass Effect review.

I figured that was probably the case, but I hadn't actually reviewed anything to confirm it. You probably get coins for helping someone solve a tech support issue too.

The problem is that Valve are lazy when it comes to announcing 3rd party DRM. So when a game is newly released, it could still have unannounced 3rd party DRM in it. I tend to go by the idea that if DRM information doesn't appear within a week, then it's 90% certain to not have DRM. But bare in mind that some games do have 3rd party DRM despite it not being listed on the store page and the game having been on Steam for longer than a week.
But this reminds me that I should probably put an FAQ up when I next have the time to look at the site code and all that.

Only if the person then marks it as solved and then only after moderator review. The problem is, most people never bother responding after your first reply. I think out of the 30 or so problems I've respond to, only 4 have then subsequently replied and later marked the issue as solved.

I must have been retroactively 'paid' for the reviews I'd written prior to the new site. That's all I can think of. Quite nice of them, really. I should review the rest of my purchases.

Really? Hmmm...I should write up some review for some of my collection then.
