RWarehall: Cows scare me, especially when they are carrying polearms.

adaliabooks: You mean like these ones?
Yup!

HypersomniacLive: You need to broaden both your horizon and theirs, and introduce them to new species. What fun would it be if they played cow simulator?
avatar
ddickinson: You mean like the goat simulator? :-)

But why would a cow want to play another animal? How many games do you play where you do not play as a human? There are a few, but most games for humans have us playing as humans, or at least human like.
I play a giant feline berserker in GW2.

RWarehall: Of course there are webcams for that too...

I was thinking more of an over-priced indie version with regional pricing. With an equally expensive DLC for different paint colours. :-)

ddickinson: I don't get who would really want a cow or goat simulator? The simulator games are just getting silly, I have seen a rock simulator, a mountain one, a grass one, and I'm sure there will be, or already is, a paint drying simulator.
Yup. I present you Paint Dry Simulator 2014.

Upgrade now to get the new 'Duck Egg Blue' colour option!!!! For just £5 more you can have gloss painted skirting boards and doors to watch too!!!!!

Grargar: Yup. I present you Paint Dry Simulator 2014.
The thing is, I would like to think it was a joke, but with the way the PC game market is today, it really wouldn't surprise me for it to be a real game.

When I played Ultima 6 as a kid, I let a mouse join the party and leveled it up untill it was able to wear a chainmail and kill enemies using a boomerang. Loved that!

It's the bovine revolution. They will be taking revenge for all the leather jackets. Their only fear is the cold hands of the farmers.

j0ekerr: The Tesla Effect has a very attractive discount. Wasn't there a Tex Murphy bundle during the fall sale?

If I'd gotten that I would jump on this one as well.

By the way. I know it's gone now, but every time I see the big picture from King's Bounty: the legend. The first thing that comes to my mind right after "homina homina homina!" is "dem, anime proportions" followed closely by, "DEM HIPS".

I'd let that succubus near my soul anytime, if you know what I mean.
Yep, I've bought the Tex Murphy bundle last time...
I've tried the first episode, but I wasn't able to play it (apparently a notable part of the game is about driving a flying car, and I can't make it. I've started "under a killing moon", which seems easier...
And I've bought Tesla Effect at this sale :)
(lol for the King's Bounty... I didn't notice... the anime proportions...)

It's the old desire to experience life as another, for some that means just within their own species, no such confines for others. ;-)

ddickinson: Perhaps there is a cow mod for the D&D games, but they would have to change all the dialogues to talk more about feed, grass, and milk. :-)
That wouldn't be much work, all it would take is replacing everything with "mooo".

I feel compelled to share this awesome song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQMbXvn2RNI

While polearmed bovines are indeed scary, I present to you, straight out of Stephen Colbert's worst nightmares, the "Oh God, we're fucked now" moment to end them all.

I think I'd be more scared of the cows.

I've always wanted a pet bear, but my girlfriend says I can't have one. :(

Well, there are already games like Grass Simulator and Rock Simulator. Being a joke doesn't prevent it from becoming a game.
