CarrionCrow: Avoid getting burned or cut, if at all possible. Aside from that, not too much risk involved. Would offer advice, but my breakfast is just different poisonous ways to stay awake.
avatar
AgentBirdnest: No cuts, no burns. Mission successful! Everything worked out really well, and it was very delicious.

I did step in some orange juice though - which is weird, because I didn't have any orange juice :\
Good to hear/read. =) Phantom orange juice is a little odd, but I can think of far worse things. -laughs-
Lol, these Tracker Threads always end up getting more views than the main ones.

I'll re-post here:
Can anyone trade Prince of Persia Sands of Time?
I'm not that interested in the full series (except for the 2 missing classic games).

IAmSinistar: Why wait for a repeat when you can check your PMs?
You, sir, are an angel. Thank you SO SO much!
I better start stretching my clicking finger because I've got a loads of things that need a-pointing!

Trade you a game for a smile. Check your PMs.
I'm so easily swayed... That's all 4 PoP games in my account now.

So since I'm new here I'll say "Hi!" :-) I joined GoG some time ago and never really got into it in a big way till now but the DRM-free nature of it plus the increasingly large retro catalogue really got me hooked.

Which brings me onto a question... has anyone else decided to go all-digital with their PC gaming?

I've always been something of a collector/hoarder (console games, DVD/Blu-ray films etc.) but with PC games I've never really been attached to physical copies... I guess because so many of them had the annoying must-insert-disc-to-play protection. So I decided a week ago I'd see how much of my boxed PC collection I could get rid of to de-clutter my house.

With all the retro available on GoG a rather huge chunk of my library can go all digital now it seems - and this sale seems to be the catalyst for the conversion!

Welcome to the forums :-)
I have to say for collecting games. I still have my old disks and would never get rid of them, but the most new games I buy are here on gog, so digital... One reason for that is saving space, the other is that at the moment I can't buy boxed games.

Welcome :)

I've found that I've drifted to digital-only PC gaming, in part because of the ease of access and the discounts available. I'd started PC gaming back in the late 90s when physical copies were the only ones available, but hurtling back in 2013 I picked up digital copies with no real thought. Console gaming (I've just picked up a Wii U to complement my PC gaming with Nintendo games, as well as allow my husband to continue play his beloved Mario Kart and Smash Bros) I'm sticking with physical copies, but for PC it's all digital.

Plus, I'd hate to see how much space 300+ games would take up...

Good afternoon CC.

Did you see my question to you earlier or did the forum mess up the notification?

Watching some stuff on Youtube... I think I'll skip out on the PoP games. Might be a bit too difficult. >.< I can barely deal with Legend of Zelda games for long periods at a time before raging at the screen. ._.
I'm looking at the dates, and King's Quest is almost as old as the PC itself. Back in those days all I had was an Amstrad.

LaPtiteBete: Thanks for this review...
I think I'll keep my money for this round.

Yes, as far as I can remember, there are many skills you must learn to use ; that takes some time before you can jump easily all over the walls, and go where you want to.

Arinielle: I don't think I worded it correctly. >.< I meant: Are the controls bad? Do they feel clunky and too difficult for what they should be?

What about the life system? What happens when you die? How are the fail states with the games?
I can't remember very well, it was (10) years ago... I think you can customise controls, so if you're not afraid of having many controls to remember, it won't be a problem for you.But dexterity is imperative (whatever the controls you chose, you still must link many moves together)... if I'm not mistaken , you don't die too often, (but you fall a lot, and must try again sometimes dozens of times)but you can't save anywhere, there are check points.

Momo1991: Just a little cross-post - still time to get in on some Secret Santa action over here:

http://www.gog.com/forum/general/secret_santa_2014/post1
Just a quick bump to the lovely Mrs Claus' awesome Secret Santa event. If you haven't already takes part, then why not! If you don't want to take part, then you have to find three more people who do, or else! :-)
Grabbed the PoP bundle (about frikkin time GOG did this one) finally clearing the last main series I was waiting to get on here.

Don't need Crimzon Clover, Agarest or the new Kings Bounty yet....lets see if the winter sale throws some variety into the works and alters everything
Well, those Prince of Persia games put me at 110 bought games/game packs since signing up. That's 125 games 'proper' (breaking down multi-game packs into their individual games).

Does anyone have a time machine I can borrow?
