Attention, please.

Our resident AgentBridnest and his lovely bluebird, Bumberluppins, are now officially on the GOGWiki. Please assist them to trim their wishlist down, and then help them built it up again, so that it can be trimmed down again.

Thank you.

hmm... so we can start gifting :D But probably not at the same time right now or we will end up with duplicates :D

trentonlf: I had my wishlist down to 1, but Hyper insisted it needed more on it. I had it at 10 and then had to add more for the secret Santa. By February I will have it back to 1 or none ;)
Don't you dare! ;-P

HypersomniacLive: Question time - I've noticed in some peeps wishlists that when a game come sin two editions (standard and special/ deluxe/ whatever) they list both. What is the purpose of this? Do you really intend to get both?
I know I've done it here on GoG because I've "heard" it can sometimes influence "mutators" "pots o' luck" and the like. So I want to make sure if I'm interested in Game X, I hedge my bets. Let's say the special edition is the only one in the sale / promo - I want to make sure it "reads" that as being on my wishlist, even though most times I'd be just as happy with the regular version.

I've also heard GoG uses wishlists to determine Sales. Again, hedging bets ;)

Problem is, that this was always pure speculation and never true. For all these sales, the games you could receive were always from a fixed list and your own wishlist had zero influence :-(

Stilton: Right, sixty seconds to snow time!

Hit my avatar at 11pm London time: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/uk/london

Its snow time!!!!

Snow angel
Snow angel? Crystal maiden must be behind the snow storm then.
I hoped that they would sort of pepper in games to the "master list" based on a critical mass of wishlists. The irony of my logic - I'm pretty sure I have yet to even buy a "surprise game" in my short time here LOL.

I'm not sure if the wishlist had zero influence. In one of the promos I did get the two games from my wishlist (the only two that were in the fixed pool) on my first try. Might have been pure luck or maybe you had a higher chance to get your wishlist games as long as they were in the pool.

AgentBirdnest: Alright, thanks to your insistence and assistance (I peeked at your edit page to see how to do everything right. Please don't hit me,) I finally have a GOGwiki page.

A thank you gift is waiting for you. :-)
Oi! The idea was you put your wishlist up so we can give YOU stuff, not the other way round. :-D

For that I AM gonna hit you - with a gift code! Enjoy. :-)

So now that you have an official wishlist, what do you think about participating at the Secret Santa event? :-)

I am freakin' speechless here. I've had the page up for like five minutes, and I'm being bombarded! :D
Thank you generous gifters so much!

You better start adding to it pronto before we run out of stuff to throw at you. And don't forget to update it after every code you redeem. :-)
