The biggest celebration of DRM-Free gaming this season is right now, right here on GOG.com! It's warm and nice outside, the summer draws ever closer, so let's make sure it's full of fantastic games. There's no one good way to spend your summer, but we know well that gaming can make every single one of them better. So, whether you plan to stay inside, hike into the wilderness, or take a boat into the calm sea, we'll make sure your laptop is filled with great DRM-Free games you can enjoy anytime, anywhere. To that end, we're holding our [url=http://www.gog.com]2014 DRM-Free Summer Sale!

Each day we'll present you with at least two special Bundle Deals with a selection of of great classics and indies available up to 90% off! As usual, you'll be able to buy just selected titles out of the bundle with a slightly lower discount, or complete your collection with just the ones you're missing, retaining the higher discount rate. Let's take a look at our offers for today, shall we?

Today, we seriously mix things up to bring you both lighthearted comedy as well as dark and morbid horror. The Legacy of Kain Saga is the Full House of gaming with its family themes and colorful presentation. Across four episodes ironically titled Soul Reaver, Soul Reaver 2, Blood Omen 2, and Defiance the series explores the relation between Kain, a authoritative father with obvious god complex, and Raziel, his rebellious son with questionable fashion sense. The story also includes many of their relatives from extended family, that cannot help but to make a mess in their imaginary homeland called Nosgoth. Hilarity ensues! All this cheerful moments for only $5.96 (that's 75% off!). The other of our offers today, is bound to chill the blood in your veins with its terrifying setting alone. The Deponia Complete Trilogy takes place on a distant planet. A planet, that long ago must have been not so different from our own Earth. Yet now, it is a grim and dark place that suffered a tragic environmental disaster. The surface of the planet is now completely covered with waste. Toxic rain flushes the pollution deep into the ground, poisoning it and making the land barren. Way above, there's the remaining enclave of civilization, housing the remnant of the human race. Now imagine one of them, a defenseless girl, falls down to the toxic junkyard below. Even though she doesn't die instantly poisoned with every imaginable toxin, her future looks grim. The wasteland is filled with danger, and soon she'll find out that she is not alone among the towering piles of garbage. What strange mutated monsters could have survived in such conditions? And what do they eat? The horror! All the thrills for just $11.97 (that's 80% off!). There you have it, a mix of laughter and cries of despair to fill your weekend with gripping gaming. Or did we overdo the mixing?

On top of that, almost all of our catalog has been discounted by up to 50%. On top of that, our front page is overflowing with excellent Flash Sales on single games. You can grab them up to 90% as well, but don't take to long, as they come and go pretty fast! Why don't you head out to GOG.com front page, and see what's happening right NOW!
I would love to see GOG put Shovel Knight into the sale as a surprise!
So ... 30th would be the last day of the sale? 30th - sale day or not??
cause i want to plan my expenses and to wait for those games i haven't seen on flash sales until the last day. If they don't come as bundle or flash i'll get them then on 50%... at least as many as the budget allows....

I believe it does include the 30th but it ends at the normal sale time so for me that's like 8:00 so when the timer runs out on 30th is when its all over.

Yeah, the hours can get tricky. I guess I'll just get them on the 29th just to be safe. Even if I miss an extra 20%-30% discount on 1-2 games, I'll just cut my losses :P.

Neverfree: I need some advice from any of you experienced paypal users! I won't be getting paid until Monday, which is unfortunately the day the sale ends and I can almost guarantee my money won't be cleared in time. I have my paypal set up to go directly to my checking account and it usually takes four days to appear in my account. So my question is, could I potentially get away with getting the games I want before the sale ends and having paypal not charge me before my money goes through an hour or so later? I'm curious, and desperate XD if anyone knows how it works, much appreciated!!
Absolutely do NOT attempt to do this! You WILL regret it! Paypal will almost certainly charge your checking account the second you submit the order. If the charge fails to go through they will likely attempt again, which can results in multiple overdraft fees. I STRONGLY advise against trying to pull shenanigans with Paypal. Even using it 100% legitimately I've been burned bad by them. I now actively avoid using Paypal unless it's a site I'm very wary of. As someone else suggested, you're probably much better off trying to find someone else here who will help you out by picking up gift codes for the games you want.

If we go by previous sales, I would guess it ends in 30 June, 16:00 (GMT+3).
Here's how I guess that this will go. So tomorrow there will be the free games again but with the inclusion of Banished so everyone should get up at like 8:00 to not miss a free game or 2. Then they will have that "something special XX:XX" timer thing again. Then there will be more trivia stuff on their social media crap. I'm just spit balling here I don't know whether this will happen but it seems like there is enough that one could guess that this might happen. Hopefully also if I'm wrong don't sue me.

From past experiences with GOG sales - at 1 pm GMT Monday, June 30th the sale should end (it is different from Steam where monday would be start of the last day and sale will actually end on July 1st).

Yeah, Grargar explained it and did this faster :)

expopower: I'll try to segue this into a game discussion, though. Since we mentioned goats before...what do you think of trying to get Goat Simulator on GOG?
On one condition: that it comes in the form of a simulation bundle which should also include Rock simulator and Grass simulator (check them out on greenlight, they're real).

On a more serious note, I'm not much of a fan of youtube fodder games also known as pewdiebait. For instance I can't imagine playing goat simulator and being entertained. I watched 2-3 videos on youtube and I pretty much lost interest in that game. But that's just like my opionion, man.

Basically goat sim is like fun for a couple hours then you just don't care any more which is the best way to describe it also if you watch a couple videos it kind of does the same thing so its not really worth much it should be cheaper or free because its just a novelty.
Goat Simulator is a bit more involved than one might gather from the videos. There are many many hours of fun in it, possibly several days worth. Depends on the person and how much they enjoy it, much like any game. If people weren't buying it in high enough volume at the price they're charging for it, they'd simply drop the price to keep it selling and keep cashflow coming in. The price is still high enough because people are buying and enjoying it. It is a bit of a novelty but then so is Octodad and many other games that continue to sell very popularly.

It should cost whatever the developers want to charge for it for the time and effort they put into it and the market will sustain by continuing to buy it. Right now that is about $7 or so on sale by the looks of it.

Hopefully they do a Goat Simulator 2 that has full blown network multi-goater. In fact, I think it would be hilarious if they made it into an MMGSO (massive multi-goat simulator online). :)
Man, I really shouldn't spend any more money, but Consortium looks very interesting to me right now. *gnashes teeth*
Oh, BTW the last day of the GOG sale promo is going to have a bunch of those Flash Video Contests again if anyone isn't following the score.
1954: Alcatraz seems to get horrible reviews... but I keep finding myself hovering over it when on flash deal...
