ddickinson: That's right, you dash my hopes for new games in the flash sale ;-). Ten times seems a bit much, but I guess it's to give as many people as possible a chance to get the games. I think the reason I don't really remember the summer sale is because it was before I visited the site more regularly. It wasn't until July that I started visiting the site more often, and started posting on the forum and meeting it's awesome members.
Just trying to spare you greater disappointment. ;-D
We can't exclude the case of new games coming up as Flash Deals - given that the repeats started after 114 titles and with the Sale being of almost equal duration with the Summer one which had a total of 221 unique Flash Deals, it's possible that in a week's time these 114 titles will be replaced by or mixed up with a fresh batch.

I think that the multiple repeats serve to give people on each timezone a few chances to get their games. Take for instance this Sale and two of the titles that made two appearances so far:

Disciples: Sacred Lands Gold (Ends Wed, 12 Nov 2014 21:58:59 UTC)
Disciples: Sacred Lands Gold (Ends Sun, 16 Nov 2014 05:58:59 UTC)

Sacred Gold (Ends Thu, 13 Nov 2014 06:38:59 UTC)
Sacred Gold (Ends Sat, 15 Nov 2014 22:38:59 UTC)

One shouldn't and wouldn't normally catch them all. But if one follows the Sale very closely and spends significant amounts on here, it gets quite boring and feels overkill.

There's a big difference this time though - during the Summer Sale the Flash Deals went live in pairs with a duration of 36' for the most part and with the next batch being greyed out, and the pattern was changes a few times by putting up batches of six games (same duration). This time a total of eight games are live at the same time but for a varying duration, while only the very next title to go live is revealed. I expect GOG to refresh things, but honestly can't think how they'd go about it.

I could be remembering wrong, but weren't several batches active at the same time back then, too? I seem to recall five as the number, so 10 games at low speed and 30 at high.

ddickinson: ...
The stamp collecting thing seems to be for seven days, so maybe after then we will get new games in the flash sale and possibly another set of stamps to collect.
...
oops! I've been missing out on the stamps!

I've been here since day 1, but never actually 'clicked'. I'm interested in "The Gamers - Director's Cut" but don't actually want "The Witcher 2". I know, I know; thats like being on Steam and not wanting Half-Life 2 (or Portal 2 or L4D2), but there it is. Still, you are correct, it is not entirely impossible that they won't change the offer at some point to a bundle I would want.

Stamp 1 collected.

Now, collect five more and then wait...

Ixamyakxim: LOL oh bummer now my hopes are dashed! I thought we were done seeing new games too, but when Golden Wake popped up I was SURE I haven't seen it before. So much for that idea! ;)

Thanks for letting me know though, I probably would have been (more) glued to GoG tonight than otherwise ;)

foxworks: Yup, I'm afraid we've seen the last of anything new during the flash unless GOG decides to pump more titles between now and the end of the sale. *shrugs*
Its a long sale..i certainly hope they keep things fresh......

They can freshen up the list after I grab everything I want from it. (Selfish moment, I know.)

Thank you for the info. Looks like I missed a chunk of my list on the repeat, and I've got 2 of 18 on my list that haven't appeared yet. Joy.
I just noticed something else, none of the starting games from Day 1 have appeared today (two showed up a second time days 2-3)
Deus Ex™ GOTY Edition
Fez
Mark of the Ninja Special Edition
Master of Magic (not shortened but available at the start of sale)
Omikron: The Nomad Soul
Rogue Legacy
Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut

Does this mean there is something different about these? Will the Day 1 games continue into Day 5?
Or will Day 2 games start at the transition?

No clue, honestly. I've been writing down what comes along, but haven't really been analyzing the data looking for the underlying pattern.
First Day 2 repeat, Two Worlds, the pattern has been broken...
Now up: Two Worlds - 80% off - $1.99

Next up: American Conquest + Fight Back

Looks like we've got a first-timer showing up!
Dang, I've been watching this sale regularly and have yet to see the one game I actually want show up again (FEZ). I seem to miss it every time it goes on sale! As much as I faithfully check the new deals, half of the games I've never even heard of... :D
New game on Flash!!!!! American Conquest + Fight Back

I might buy this one if its 80%...

I think there is definitely going to be a second round of flash sales. Probably starting on Day 7.

My reasoning is that the entire sale lasts 14 days (assuming it runs until the end of Nov 25th). We had three days of non-repeated flash sale games. If they repeat for three days, then that would leave us ready for another (new) batch of flash sales to appear over three days and then repeat over three more days.

Then perhaps GOG has something extra-special planned for us for the two-day finale?...

ETA: ^^^ I could be wrong LOL :D!

At least we had blocks of repeats, means we may see some pattern to it. Last one seemed so random.
