CarrionCrow: A lady named Katya mentioned that she saw it on her library but she couldn't download it a few days ago. On my screen, it's listed at a 1.99 price. Looks like they've got some kind of image glitch or....something. But it does have a price attached, so it's not going to be a freebie.

donsanderson: It filled in the notorious 'blank spot' on several peoples shelves. I had read somewhere that this was to be free to owners of the Gold Edition but this has been the most screwed up DLC I ever seen. Been going on for months now. :/
Yeah....maybe I'm completely off-base, but it feels like the developers said "Well, we've got a base game, but then we Frankensteined the crap out of these add-ons, and we really don't feel like doing the cleanup work for DRM-free installers so let's drop it in GOG's lap so we can say 'We gave it to them X amount of time ago, it's out of our hands now'".

foxworks: Same. I did an account refresh and it went away.
I'm sure there's some good reason I didn't think of trying that. :/ Yep, blank spots still gone but so is Juggernaut. Thanks Foxy. ;)

Probably the same reason I tend to not think of it. Copy/pasted the refresh info to a notepad file so it'll be on my desktop for absent-minded moments.
Grabbed the movies for gamers pack, pretty good deal, but I'm done with the sale, unless they spring some surprises at the end :)

One more on the wishlist, one less on the shelf. That's just WRONG! ;)

Couldn't agree more. Will have to work on reversing that when Winter hits, so roughly 19 or 20 days from now.
"Move To Iowa In The Glorious Midwest USA, Experience All Four Seasons In Just One Week!"

4 deg and snow, 20 deg and sunny, 60 deg and sunny, 45 deg and pouring rain. All in just 4 days!
Wonder why most Iowans have sinus problems? ;)

Edit: We throw in some tornadoes, droughts and floods for variety.

Ahhhhh....compulsing over the list in between trying to get A+'s on every level, find every mask and get every puzzle piece in Hotline Miami.
Not a bad way to spend a Sunday morning. =)

Well, when it reappeared for me I managed to get the store page and a download link for it with no problems. That was a few days ago so I don't know if anything's changed. The sale ran out of steam for me a while ago, so I was focusing on other things. I got my one wanted game so I'm semi-happy, now back to plotting if I want to get any more games before the sale ends.

eiii: Is that script downloadable somewhere?
avatar
HypersomniacLive: As far as I know, no. You have to ask Pidgeot.
I completely missed the point, it's not a script you have to install locally in your browser, it's a web service which you can access over the net. Thanks to IAmSinistar for linking to it in the first post.
So what's the verdict on the Capitalism games? Can anyone recommend them?

I don't have experience with them, but I know I've been eyeballing 2 for a while now. The review that states something like "Harvard Business School Uses This" and the tons of glowing praise for a game that I would think wouldn't appeal to many were enough to grab my attention.

Plus I love that it seems like it covers everything from logistics to production, finance, assets and the actual personalities of managers. So, not much help other than that ;)
Who's holding the fort on this empty battlefield?
