Tekkaman-James: Sagely advise. You're right. In fact, I'll probably let them both go for now. Tales of Monkey Island has been on sale three or four times in the short time I've been a member here. There's no rush. I'll just stick to my plan of grabbing Volgarr (per your request) and Shogo (a game I've wanted to play for years).

It's just getting to the point with this dang sale where you see these games for the 12th time and you think, "That is a good price, isn't it? Why didn't I buy it the first eleven times it showed up?" This sale is 5-7 days too long. I'm ready to be done. -_-;

LynetteC: Allow me to resolve your dilemma. :-)

Tekkaman-James: You are far too kind! Thanks a million! Now, let's not let this get out of hand, okay? My wants typically outweigh my funds, so this will turn into quite a production if you keep this up. It is very much appreciated though. ^_^
We're all here, at least in part, because our wants outweigh our finances. Don't beat yourself up over that one. -laughs- =)
I would have bet real money today's deals would have changed. Here I am back from work looking at the same old $%^t?
This will not go down in history as one of GOG's better sales, that's a SURE bet. :/

Mixed feelings, to be sure. Also, hey there, good afternoon. =)
The sale's not bad. But (yes, I'm saying it again, loading up the same broken record), the pacing is total crap. The hype and length of a Winter/Summer, but bogged down with WAY too much repetition.
Call it the Pre-Winter Appetizer, call it the Fall....whatever. But if you market it like Winter's equally appealing twin sister, and it's not? People will still get cranky about it.

RWarehall: Oh, hey, Day 10 is missing a set of entries right after Evil Genius...and before Runaway
avatar
IAmSinistar: Fixed.

Shame there wasn't something new and exciting to paste in there instead. Tripling the speed of repeats isn't exactly thrilling.
at least they arent all in the same cycling order :/

ddickinson: You're a fine one to talk about twisting words. No matter what I say or do, you make out there is something sinister behind it. I think you don't like people being nice, I think you like the drama of people being sinister. :-)
I must have spent too much time in bad company. (~_^)

Whether I like any sort of drama or not does not change the fact that you switch sides whenever it serves your plots of making me (and a few others too) look bad. ;-P
what the hell has happened to front page? its sooooo slow

You are to blame (sometimes)! Sometimes I just try to be nice, then you accuse me of something. Then I just think that I might as well have some fun with the mean man with the big blue eye. :-)

Seems normal for me.

Good afternoon to you. Yep, I would have lost my bet bigtime, oh well.
I see the kids are still spatting about who's nicest. ;-)

Just out of curiosity, am I the only one whose bestselling list sometimes turns into the Interplay collection, for no reason whatsoever?

Nope. It took me quite by surprise when I saw Messiah among the best-sellers.

Actually, if they were, I'd at least have my game by now. Instead I'm seeing the same games over and over with no respite.

Frankly I really would rather be watching the progress bar on Jack Keane at this point. At least then I'd know that when the time passed there would be something interesting afterwards.

Okay, thank you. More than a little odd, and the hoarder side always takes it as a memo from GOG of "Hey, buy more stuff!"
As if I needed that kind of reminder....

If life were a rom-com, you two would be the perfect oil-and-water couple. ;)

Strike that, "Oscar and Felicia".

Well, if I'm going to be bored to tears, I may as well be productive and get some work started. *sigh*
