Stilton: Does anyone have a significant other who's into games as much as they are?

My shieldmaiden hasn't even a passing interest in what I'm playing, in spite of repeated efforts to get her involved. She has her compensations, though; she can play a hauntingly beautiful version of 'Love Story' on an alpine horn.
I had and it was awesome to have a common interest in games since you can spent much more time gaming :D

I think that's called foreplay... ;-)

madth3: I'd be really interested to know the sales numbers of the games according to the repetitions.

How many buyers are of the kind that login almost everyday, how many are of those that only come for the sales, or that have been away and came for this one. I'm sure the latter kind rarely (maybe never) posts in the forums but they might be buying anyway.

kblazer883: I am one of the people that has been on the website for a while and I try to check the site as often as I can. I personally don't care for the insomnia sale because I cannot sit here and watch every 15 minutes to see what comes next. While in the last insomnia sale I managed to catch a couple things I wanted, I also missed a couple due to the inability to monitor GOG, like watching over a child's every move. I also rarely participate in the forums, but have made some posts when I felt it appropriate.

While admittedly slower paced, I like the speed of this sale. I have managed to pick up one game that I have wanted for a while because I wait for sales. I am a frugal person with a family to support and future plans that require money. Therefore, I save where I can and GOG has provided that avenue for me in the games department.

End note to those that make the lists of games available and have the time to track everything in these sales, "good job". This has been very helpful over the sales I haven't missed.
I'll freely admit that Insomnia isn't the very best for everyone. Would be willing to say that it's pretty much unsurpassed when it comes to helping people have more of a connection to the site and each other, but I know that's all null and void if time constraints don't allow for that interaction.
I don't have a problem with the sale in and of itself. I just think its pacing is godsawful.
Also, despite having lost most of my relatives in a tragic, horrific, and to be fair more than a little hilarious ice cream truck-related incident, I can also relate to the need to budget and watch every cent. That's also why I hit the sales as hard as possible, as frequently as possible. It simply wouldn't be doable otherwise.
So I'll try to sleep now, have a good night shift watching the flash sales :D

Sleep well when you get there. Goodnight. =)
Goodnight!
Night moonshineshadow.
Anyone remember who was looking for JA2?

yyahoo: The green and yellow? Where?

CarrionCrow: It has to be because of the script. Just noticed it in between trying to fix tech stuff and failing miserably until Hypersomniac helped me with it.
Not only does the logo get it's colour back, but so do your notifications. Speaking of which, is that a little red '1' up there? ;-)

Thanks for the heads-up. I've just done my civic duty to help reduce that list and increase his backlog!

Yes, you did, and I thank you deeply for the kindness and generosity. =)
Last time around... thoughts on The Real Texas? I'm big into the Ultima series and this game seems to give off an Ultima vibe.

Ooh, was CarrionCrow suffering from anemia too? ;-) +1

Thank you for joining the good, GOG-law* abiding citizens.

*The GOG-law is "reduce the wishlist, increase he backlog", just like Lynette said. (◕‿↼)

Hmm... JA2 coming up soon, think it's time I picked it up. :-)
