foxworks: I'm off to saw some logs ;-) I should be up before all games have cleared the deck. However, in case I do miss it - be on the lookout for Space Run :)

Niggles: * wonders why so keen* ;)

CarrionCrow: Well, I just looked and there's something like 261 items under the indie part of GOG. (Kinda crazy, I know. Didn't think there'd be that many.) Say that maybe 40 or 50 of those are in the flash sale? Those should be out of commission for next month, otherwise GOG's just screwing themselves over. Won't happen on one of the biggest sales of the year, I'm sure. Course, since there are that many independent games, it could still be heavy with them next month.
Hope not, but who knows.

Niggles: Which sort of makes me wonder out of all the games either on sale or on flash - whats worth grabbing now - rather than wait to xmas and find out its not on sale nor as on deep a discount?
Depends on taste there. I could tell you what stuff I got, but that's just showing what's appealing to me. I got stuff now since there was stuff that looked good and I had some cash on-hand to do so. Also, I am NOT a fan of waiting. Like, at all. Ever. Under any circumstances. Kinda frigging hate it, honestly.
ahhh coolies :). Looks like GOGs crashing under the weight of all those people buying Capsized and Real Myst Masterpiece Edition ;)

Oh, indeed. Capsized and Real Myst Masterpiece Edition. Truly two items that will be remembered for decades to come.
So I just realized that Spelunky has up to 4 player co-op mode. Has anyone tried this? Is it any fun? I've been looking for a fun multiplayer co-op title to play with my fam.
Morning, everyone !!

Thanks for the update !!
And for waking me up :D
I'm glad, my GOGwiki page finally works (thanks to Google Chrome and TamperMonkey... I didn't managed it with Firefox and GreaseMonkey...) :-|

You know that something is wrong when the main thread during a sale goes silent.
Is everyone Ok? :-)

And thanks for the updated list.

I'm having some trouble syncing my account with my GOGWiki page too.
My guess is because GOG is a bit overwhelmed. I'll give another try after this sale period. Maybe then it will work better.

Hi !! :)
Maybe it's because of the sale... maybe not ; we'll see !
While waiting, I'm now a proud new user of Google Chrome... :-\

2 hours aren't so bad yesterday or the day before there was no post for more than 4 hours.

Stilton: Woah, thanks. I already have Rune Classic, and The Banner Saga and new M&B Viking Invasion are wishlisted. Didn't think about Settlers 4, but it looks good. Has anyone had experience of Settlers games - which one is best?
avatar
ariaspi: For me Settlers 2 was the best. I had so much great time playing it, 15-16 years ago... still remember some of its music. The 10th Anniversary is good too, better graphics, more polished I guess, maybe a little easier, IIRC. I never tried any of the sequels, they didn't appeal to me at that time, but I don't remember why. Maybe were too different. You could try the 10th Anniversary first and see how you like it, but you should know that both are time demanding games and maybe you won't like them if you're not having patience. :)

Edit:
"Considered by most fans to be the best part of the Settlers® series" - it's in The Settlers 2 GOG's description and I think they are pretty right with that.
Thanks for your answer, ariaspi. Settlers 2 does look the better game, if only because of its more old-school aesthetic. If I go for one, it'll probably be 2 ;-)

Good day, everyone!

Ready for another adrenaline-rush fuelled Deals-Day? ;-P

So, Capsized joined the ranks of Flash Deals. At this rate, we'll see what? Another 3-4 new games till the end?
Not sure I can handle this much excitement.

Cheers to CarrionCrow and moonshineshadow for keeping the list updated. :-)

Hi all. Another day of fun and frolics. Hopefully not too much dozing this time. Bring on the games...
