Section updated: Don't forget about your gamer friends that may not know GOG.com yet! Sadly, for the sake of unburdening what servers we have, we had to turn off the option for gifting free games. But you can always just let them know they can sign up with GOG.com and claim a free gift of Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics. On top of that, when they register to our service, they'll receive all the 12 free games we add to all the newly-created accounts. That way your friends will start their adventure with GOG.com with a collection of 15 great games total already on their virtual shelves! Be kind, share the good news! :-)

We'd also like to remind you, that all purchases on GOG.com are now covered with our new 30-day Worldwide Money Back Guarantee, so your holiday gaming shopping spree is safer than it ever was before.

I don't know why, but the Insomnia sale was more exciting to me.

Skysect: Thanks , I completely understand now :D Maybe I see some different community deals , because I already have many of them or many of them , out of my interests :)
Glad I could help :-) As for how much of an interest the upcoming Community Deals are going to be to each one of us - well, that's a different story all together...

Well there we had people staring at their monitors getting excited to see what was next. Then either excitement as a classic like Planescape Torment popped up or dread as Jack Keane 2 came around for another go.

Here you check in once a day and that's it really.

Though a more calm sale after that madness can be a good thing too.
Man these reeeeeally long sales do nothing for me, I buy everything I want from GOG on day 1 (usually full price), I'm not complaining but these sales round here almost seem endless, and despite the huge discounts I literally already have everything I want. I just want more classic games here, not another thousand sales for every excuse GOG's marketing dept can think up.

Oh well, there's Pegasus Prime in Feb, and hopefully other classics to come. But I can't be the only one who just avoids GOG completely at sales.

You can't even give us a new classic game release for Christmas GOG :(

That's the thing, though. The more sales GOG can show potential partners, the more they can say, "Hey look, jackasses, if you'd stop being too piss scared to release a DRM-free version of your product, there are thousands and thousands of people who'd buy it and make you more money". A lot of people unfortunately don't give a rat's ass about fans who've loved a certain game or series for 5, 10, 20 years, but big enough numbers and a big enough prospect of profit could possibly make them finally stop being moronically narrow-minded and work with GOG.

Hey, how come so few peope vote for the Cinematic Adventures pack? It has Runaway and... huh? Alright, point taken.
The Lord of Insomnia has arrived.
JACK'S BACK, BABY, JACK'S BACK
Now this is why we have this sale! Never played Psychonaughts, always been tempted but always been weary of it. Hey, at 2.50 what harm is there is giving it a look? :D

BTW Wurzelkraft, brilliant reply; hilarious but at the same time eloquent and poetic. +1
Why is it, that the timer for today's deals say "47:38:20 LEFT"? No new deals tomorrow?

They want to give Jack a better chance at winning?
Are you guys saying that I should NOT have voted for the Cinematic Adventures? :-p

Always wanted to eventually get the Runaway games, and well, might as well collect a piece of history with the other set.

At least there *is* a timer for JK this time around.
Sometimes democracy simply doesn't work.
