Section updated: Don't forget about your gamer friends that may not know GOG.com yet! Sadly, for the sake of unburdening what servers we have, we had to turn off the option for gifting free games. But you can always just let them know they can sign up with GOG.com and claim a free gift of Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics. On top of that, when they register to our service, they'll receive all the 12 free games we add to all the newly-created accounts. That way your friends will start their adventure with GOG.com with a collection of 15 great games total already on their virtual shelves! Be kind, share the good news! :-)

We'd also like to remind you, that all purchases on GOG.com are now covered with our new 30-day Worldwide Money Back Guarantee, so your holiday gaming shopping spree is safer than it ever was before.

Shadow Warrior 2013 for 10$ was a steal, glorious game.
I didn't realize it was the last day o_O
Oops, missed the ending by a few hours. Great sale GOG, maybe put up some stuff for New Years, since I still got some stuff on the Wish List.

retsuseiba: What is this front page? Did someone hack GOG? :O
Now it feels like a Diablo run with only white-blue item drops XD

Actually I feel it was a terrible sale. The voting part made us miss out on a lot of nice deals because they were not voted :(

jackster79: Just checked and I have approximately slightly more than 90 games in my GOG wishlist
avatar
ne_zavarj: 134 :(
Wow... I cannot imagine trying to find 40 more games to add to the wishlist! I do not think that GOG has that many left that I would actually want to play!

avatar
ne_zavarj: I give up . :(
Don't do that! You keep on hacking away at there wishlist and eventually it will be back under 3 digits. :-D

(Note to self: must make sure not to allow my own to go into 3-digit territory, though that will be tricky. Either I would have to buy everything as it comes out, or GOG would have to release almost nothing I want all year, neither of which is appealing).
I think something GOG could consider for the future is to have a gradual discount for these bundles. Something like:

- buy 1 game, get 60% off
- buy 2 games, get 66% off
- buy 3+ games, get 75% off
- if you own all but 2 games, your lowest discount is 66%

I understand why GOG does 75% for only completing the bundle, but I think they could actually increase their sales by allowing people to find their own middle ground in case they don't want all the games, so they still can save money. I'm just thinking out loud based on some feedback I've read in this thread and a few others.

IAmSinistar: snip
Quite an impressive list. Many of those are the same I have.

I am curious though what your opinion is on the following games should you play them anytime soon:
Aarklash: Legacy
Corsairs Gold

Finally, a Thank You! to GOG for another Holiday Sale! Hopefully the ol' wallet gets a few weeks of reprieve, but I doubt it. If the start of 2014 is anything like 2013 was, there will be something that will make the wallet think the relief was much too short...

They've already tried that a few times haven't they? (people have whined about both types of bundles - cant keep everyone happy)..

GOG has not done a graduated discount offer in their holiday or summer sales. They've done it a few times for weekend or special promos at other times of the year, like for the D&D games.. I don't remember people "whining" - can you link to such an example?
Well, with the smoke clearing, this is what I retrieved from this sale.

I ended up with five games after this sale!

-Sam & Max Save the World (awesome find in my surprise boxes for only about $4!)
-Gangland
-The Legend of Kyrandia Book 1
-The Legend of Kyrandia Book 2: Hand of Fate
-The Legend of Kyrandia Book 3: Malcolm's Revenge

Bringing my total games to 182!
Missed large swaths of the sale due to one thing and then another.

Short list this time around:
Fallout Tactics
Might and Magic 7, 8, 9

Games from my awesome Secret Santa:
Race the Sun
Nox
Stronghold Crusader

And then three secret games bought for my giftee.

There were about 8 others I would have loved to snag, but they'll come around again as the sale wheel turns. :D

I'd absolutely love that, especially in comparison to what we just had. :)
