It would be a bit coincidental for the world to end during MY time, in fact it would be highly suspect like life is some sort of project and all participants going through the project experience the world ending as graduation from the project.

Hey - listen: are you afraid? Of what? ... really think about it. The only thing you can lose is your weak body that is going to die anyway. So, you can't avoid it. You also can't predict it. You could be knocked over just tomorrow. So, the old plain rule applies: today is your day - make the best of it and have fun! Go get playing fun games. Who knows if eletric power is still there tomorrow ... in the end you can still say, that finally the earth's worst menace is going to vanish on this planet. So let's hope that we get some exciting days and weeks watching the asteroid live on tv going to reset the state on the blue planet. Sometimes, you have to reboot to get back a clean operating system. Peace.

Will the world end in 2012? Yes. For some people. Those being the ones who die for whatever reason in 2012. For everyone else, it'll just be another mundane year filled with people discussing how the world is going to end. The when it doesn't end, they'll quickly move on to the next date the world is supposed to end and the cycle will repeat ad nauseum.

I don't know, let's say the world did end in 2012 and you got dumped out of a virtual project into a high-tech society.

Would you be happy to find out that you don't really die and don't have to experience death or would you be upset to find yourself existing in a world that has the technology to impede your memory and relocate you as a fictional person in an fictional place?
