On Thursday, the GOG will present two hundredth game on offer. Is this opportunity get a surprise? How do you think?
I like to think it's going to be VTM: Bloodlines.
Colin McRae 2005 :D
It's going to be Knights of the Old Republic.
Then I'll wake up.
Brother suggests Betrayal at Krondor as a freebie.
Given that the 100th game was a freeware surprise, and that I don't know about BaK's freeware status being revoked, plus that we have Activision on board, I don't say it's all that improbable.
It would be nice to get a 50% off code for any game! :o)

A site update and a new publisher.
Edit: Forget it - wrong Thursday :P.

End of the beta stage, a new publisher deal, a free game.
Hopefully all of the above.
Is this all speculation or does GOG actually acknowledge they will do something on thursday?

Mostly speculation, but...

the interview I'm reffering to is here:
http://www.gamezebo.com/news/2010/01/28/gogs-marcin-iwinski-activision-deal-why-drm-still-sucks
"The next big thing for us will happen at the end of March. We are finalizing another major deal that will boost GOG's catalogue with some of the most-awaited games from the top of our most-wanted list. We will gladly tell you more about it in March :)
We also have a lot of plans in terms of updating the site, its functionality and implementing quite a few new features - this is also planned for end of March, so do keep checking us out. ".

Two hundred games in offer is a good opportunity to introduce new features or surprises

I agree, but I think it's not the main reason.
A nice steak dinner? And they'll do the dishes afterwards. Bliss.
Technically, they already had the 200th game added to the library (I think it might have been Aquanox). There are three games that used to be in the library that have now been removed, so while there are currently less than 200 games in the library, they've already reached their 200th title added mark.
As for what they might do this Thursday, I'm expecting nothing more than what they would do on any other Thursday; they can't keep doing something special for every insignificant milestone they hit.
